Do you really think that a "i can use da calculador" maths degree from University of No one's ever heard of is any different from a women's studies degree from University of No One Cares About?

go ahead, cherrypick some data and supply some anecdotal evidence. maybe go all out and shoop as a picture of your bank account.

Literally no one hires maths degrees since computers became a thing.
Physics degree that's not a doctorate? You're literally in the same boat as Philosophy and Psychology.
Chemistry degree that's not a doctorate? See Breaking Bad.
Engineering - provided you study the right kind of engineering and live in the right area.
Any medical bullshit - sure, you'll be making bank. 12-20 years later. And then give back ~%50 of that to pay your loans until you're 60.

20 years
Study done in 2013
So 1993 to 2013.
So we're looking at people that graduated with maths/IT/engineering degrees in 1993, and used them from 1993, through the 90s, then the tech bubble, net bubble, growth of the internet, rise of the internet of things, rise of online business, and all the infrastructure that had to be created for all those things and I'm sure a dozen more I'm too lazy to mention.

Is my point sufficiently clear or do I need to greentext it up?
>>
>>743092911
Your argument is flawed .

As you pointed out, in 20 years most low level jobs will be automated. That should, in essence, reduce the low data points in regards to engineering jobs and alike. Therefore, the return in 20 years would be greater.

While a job in "art" as you so plainly put it, may not necessarily bloat your bank its very hard to argue that artists are garbage tier. Artists challenge the status quo, create new media and in some cases control the culture and hearts they're exposed to. Some people make it huge in the arts and are set for life, while other go their whole existence without recognition. I'd ague that artists fit into a high risk, hi reward tier, not a garbage one. When I look back at whats been preserved in history I see works of art, and while sure science is changing and ever growing and improving, a scientist today will surely have all their works updated, replaced and altered beyond recognition in the next several hundred years.

>>
>>743094564
You have to be a great scientist to be remembered. I hope to one day find something that no other human has discovered before, perhaps a new vaccine or theorem. But you're right that even average artists have their works preserved in some aspects for at least a few future generations while most of us are forgotten unless we write medical entries in journals or come up with something entirely new. And even then it's only known to a few high minds in the respected field.

Then again art today can be Considered feminists splashing period blood on a canvas.

A few work for my mom who fights insurance fraud in the private sector (BIG Money is lost each year by corrupt doctors. The irony that I'm a doctor isn't lost on me) and they are hard workers.

Problem with Indians from India with degrees is that many are bought and the person knows jack shit. Hence why I don't trust their doctors. True enough. I took a 3D animation for Game Film and visual effects course in school. The program covered all facets and I've got a potential future in 2D traditional animation, UV and texturing, concept design and 3D modelling. If I'm not hired into a studio when I grad, which most are. I'll be doing free lance commissions for businesses and other media creators. I could make art for Indie games. My teachers interested in sharing an art gallery connection with me. Anyone who says art is dead end is simply incorrect.
