Not anything in the standard "religious" way. But, I have seen what one might refer to as "the meaning of life". I've made contact with what holds the universe together.

But, I've never seen jesus or anything like that.

A bit of both.
>Why?
In moments of clarity, I can see everything. Everything makes sense, all the answers just flow into my view like a river flowing into the sea.
Then other times, it's like I'm drowning in that very same river. Nothing makes sense, I can't see anything, all of my own thoughts feel alien. Everything around me feels like it wants the worst to come of me.

>Best leave the monstrosities nameless, yes?
Well, it's less about them being monstrosities, and more about names. For instance, I have had this dog for two months almost, and I've yet to even name her.

There's something about names that makes me feel funny. I don't like them.

>You are a cool dude OP.
If you say so. lol
>>742930023
>I edated a schizo girl once and it didn't end well nor did it last long, she just distanced herself.
That's the thing about people with mental issues. They will often distance themselves and try to keep everything at arm's length. It's quite the flaw.

>what is it like to date someone while you are a schizo
Well, I've only really edated because I'm a neet who doesn't socialize. So.. yea.
But, that being said; It's very energy consuming. I'm the type of person who will only date someone I feel a very strong connection with. I won't date someone who's just hot or whatever. So I often go after people who also have mental issues which makes it even harder because we both want to reach out, but we both want to stay at arm's length.

>how do you feel about love
Well, love is, somewhat of a new thing for me. I've only ever loved one person. (I have had crushes, but not love)
Love is, hard, seeing someone you want the best for, then to see them unable to reach it. Then to try to help and guide them, only to make matters worse.
Love hurts, a lot, it makes me uncomfortable, to the point where I want to vomit.
But I love it, and I love her.

Don't worry about stuff like that, I don't adhere to any "social norms".

>but are you religious?
The answer to that question is a little ambiguous. It's both yes, and no. I "identify" as Pantheist. Not because I believe in Pantheism, but because it's the closest thing to what I "believe".

I don't believe in "God" the omnipotent being AKA Jesus, or Mohammad or what-have-you. I believe in god (notice the lowercase). Not a "being" that rules over, but an "energy" for lack of a better word that holds everything together, and allows us to experience this thing we call life.
I refer to that "energy" as the universe.

>energy = god
Fair enough. Just going to give you a heads up, i love talking philosophy and theology so the following questions are a result of that:

Is god energy (henceforth ge) concerned with morality, and if so why?
Is ge personal (as in having person-hood), or is it object (just there like a chair)
What is ge's relationship with humanity if it is personal?
How does ge manifest in existence?
Is ge physical or does it transcend the physical?
What is your creation myth, or has the universe (as in space) always existed?

I'm asking because I'm curious.

No. I am concerned with the trancendental beyond those atoms though. Conscious beings like humans for some inexplicable reason, despite being made of the same stuff as monkeys, see to have a concept of self and of morality. I feel like this existence is a reflection of some trancendental reality (like platos cave) and that we as concious beings are an expression of what could be called "God" due to our super-natural nature. imo ofc.

>What is your creation myth, or has the universe (as in space) always existed?

The way I view it is; there was an empty "shell" the shell is what the universe "was". Like the universe died after all its energy expended and left just the shell. All of the inhabitants of the universe died, obviously. It was just a husk, then this "thing" came along and saw this black, empty mass floating around and decided to give it a jumpstart, a second chance if you will.
The being that "gave life" to the universe is who god "was" it's probably dead now. Thus, parting with its energy to revive the universe gave the universe "god like" energy. Which allows it to rehost life and the ability to expand as quickly as it has. the thing we refer to as "light" is the remnants of the energy that "god" gave the universe.
In its first form, I believe the universe only hosted plants and things of that nature, no sentient beings at all.

>please elaborate, i do not understand.
Well, I believe that the universe is dead, as is everything inside of it. We aren't actually alive.
If what I think is true, then the Universe died about 14billion years ago.
"Inside" the universe time is different than outside of the universe. So "outside" the universe ended about 14 billion years ago.
>So its present but not here in the sense of space or what?
Kinda explained this above if you need more details leme know.
>You should read up on QFT (Quantum Field Theory), it is awesome imo.
I'll look into it. It's not really my field of interest though.
>So ge is a substance that we are within? Are we a part of ge or is ge seperate from us?
We are both within, and part of it. Similar to how your atoms are inside of you and they are separate from "you", yet they also make you up. To put it into a physical metaphor.
>So lower dimensional?
Well, in the 4th dimension the 3rd isn't really "visible" anymore.
Like, how often do we encounter 2d things? Never. (minus computers, they don't count).
>or you mean it cannot see in the sense that is has no awareness and therefore no "sight"?
It's perfectly capable of "seeing" though I would imagine it doesn't "see" in the same way we do.

>>742945288
>So if i understand, exitence is the husk of a trancendental once conscious ge that has sence then expired in order to give birth to reality within the once empty shell we now reside?

Close.
The husk was "this" universe before it was "this" universe.
AKA: This universe died, then "god" came and gave "this universe" life. Thus killing "god"
(most likely)
>That's pretty neato
I think so too.
>though that makes we wander why?
Maybe that's just its nature. "god" is just energy, it doesn't contain actual "life". It's like trying to live on the sun. Doesn't work.
But if the sun parts with some of its energy onto surrounding planets. Now we're onto life.

If what I think is true, then the Universe died about 14billion years ago.
"Inside" the universe time is different than outside of the universe. So "outside" the universe ended about 14 billion years ago.
In my mind the picture you painted looks like this: from a point the original universe (u1) expanded out untill it became a partially hollow-sphere, the origin point of which became a void due to universe expansion. Then ge came and spent it's potential energy to actualize a new universe (u2) which itself is not expanding. Is this it?

>Well, in the 4th dimension the 3rd isn't really "visible" anymore. Like, how often do we encounter 2d things? Never. (minus computers, they don't count).
Ever read flat-land? From my understanding each dimension is the sum of the prior dimensions layed along a strange axis outside of it. (this guy explains it pretty well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGguwYPC32I). Your perspective on it is rather interesting, I always thought that if you trancend higher dimensions you would be able to see all lower dimensions in full and travel through them. Your insight sggests that each dimension is mutually exclusive in this regard. That or considering the following part the idea of sight and suchforth in terms of dimensions is very different from our understanding of sight.

>Ever read flat-land?

>From my understanding each dimension is the sum of the prior dimensions layed along a strange axis outside of it.
Yes, that's pretty much how it works. But in order to view the 2nd dimension (outside of computers), you must be inside of it. For instance, even the smallest things we can view are still in the 3rd dimension. (as far as I know)
In order to view the second dimension, you'd have to dismantle all of the layers and view them individually.

Yea, pretty much. God might be able to if it had some sort of super advanced tech that would allow it to separate the dimensions that make up the 4th dimension whilst still keeping everything intact.
Though, that's purely hypothetical.
>So basically ge is a phenomena, more than anything anthropomorphic?
In a nutshell, yes. god would be "alive" in the same sense that the sun is alive. But it shares no resemblance to anything we've ever seen. It would be just a being of (nearly) pure energy.

good read if you are interested in multi-dimensional theorems and want it explained to you in a neat story. There's a movie on YouTube for it if you don't want to buy or pirate the book. (graphics are a bit outdated though)
Fascinating!

I'm in a conflicting place in my life. Spent most of it in poverty, more or less, and now I have two opportunists open to me. One is to move to the states and burn down what I have here, the other is to remain where I stand and try to develop my position where I'm at with my gf.

I'm making similar amounts of money either way, but the moving to the states one involves me being closer to a long time friend. I don't have a degree in some meme course so I don't get a free pass.

What do you think I should do?

That's kind of a really important decision to be handing over to strangers who know next to nothing about you. I'd suggest looking inward instead of outward on this one

But if it helps you decide, what does your gut tell you? If you had to make a snap decision in the next 5 seconds, what would you pick?

I read that important life decisions should be made quickly and unimportant ones, like what color to paint your house, you should spend a long time on because of how your brain works. Emotionally important decisions are hard-wired in the brain, and when you start fucking with thinking logically about them you can convince yourself to change your mind, but the right decision is already made as long as you dont think too much about it

yes, i played BL2. wasn't nearly as good as BL1 mechanics- and story-wise imo (ok, the latter was fine i guess, but BL1 was more... mysterious).
however, the ui was vastly superior (i mean, yay, minimap). only wish they didnt take the lazy way of "difficulty" by making everything bullet fucking sponges. also snipe a guy from half the map, he and his friends start shooting you with their pistols. and they hit. where you were barely able to see the fucking guy in a sniper's scope.

THANKS, RANDY.

>Ooh is that a picture of Angel?
yes, from Jack's office... which actually makes me believe I confused it with BL:TPS which was complete shit btw.

damn I can't remember now whether that picture was in BL2 or BL:TPS, but probably the latter, since you can actually access Jack's office and his desk there.

Regarding mechanics, BL1 rewarded good aim, wheres on higher difficulties in BL2 aim was completely irrelevant - critical hits did shit damage anyway, and the only way to take down enemies was some stupid gimmicks such as Grog + Unkempt Harold and spamming this shit as fast as possible. I mean, come on, people actually did challenges such as taking bosses down BLINDFOLDED. And they succeeded. Fucking artificial "difficulty" which is basically negated by Grog's healing power.
Made the game tedious, not fun.

Also, BL2's items were much less random than BL1's. Basically if you managed to get two weapons with the same parts at the same level - they were identical. In BL1, most of the values were randomized, so getting similar weapons on the same level still resulted in different stats (which was important, since some of the mashers I got (oh right, they removed them in BL2...) were insanely awesome and fun to play with as my Mordy).

Not even gonna mention how in BL1 you could actually pick enemy's weapon up once you killed them, aka if you got hit by a fucking rocket, and if that was your hting, killing the guy would grant you a rocket launcher. In BL2? You kill a guy firing fucking rockets at you and get an SMG out of fucking nowhere.

Oh. In BL1 most weapons were viable, in BL2... do you remember using shotguns (ok except some legendaries) and ARs (not even fucking legendarieS)? Or snipes unless you were Zero perhaps (who I played as, btw, cause sniping was always my thing, but then it turned out to be completely useless in BL2).

fuck i rant too much. it's that caffeine.

The ones I had in my late teens, leading up to the diagnosis were usually stuff like animals, spiders, insects.
The auditory ones were stuff like the sound of people climbing over my chainlink fence, trying to get in the house, people walking down the hall ways. (paranoia induced a lot of my auditory hallucinations.)
>what did you experience with paranoia?
Primarily auditory hallucinations. There were also "negative spiral" episodes caused by the paranoia.

TPS was great (minus the short campaign, but the Cl4ptp expansion made up imo).
It had the best story, and expanded on Jack's story so well.

>BL1 rewarded good aim
I found it to be the opposite. BL1 was just spray and pray. ADS didn't make your gun pinpoint accurate so you still had a pretty large chance of missing even with snipers.
Whereas BL2 most guns were damn near pinpoint.
>Also, BL2's items were much less random than BL1's
You do have a point there. They pretty much "streamlined" the gun generation.
>Not even gonna mention how in BL1 you could actually pick enemy's weapon up once you killed them
That was one of my favorite things about BL1.
If a badass came at you with a badass rocket and you died 500 times because of it, but managed to kill him you got that rocket.

oh, yes, well, storywise it was... needed i'd say.

but they didnt have to push the shit agenda with that, didnt have to release unfinished animations, didnt have to make the game kinda short and to make it up place fast travels in completely useless places (tbh the only useful one was near Pickle, but on the other side of the map transition entrance) aaaaaand the weapons were kinda imba again (lasers kinda meh, and they were supposed to be huge selling point). not to mention most legs were just copied from bl2 and bosses were shit and didnt even respawn/weren't farmable until they patched it!

> ADS didn't make your gun pinpoint accurate so you still had a pretty large chance of missing even with snipers.
replay it as Mordy. he has +accuracy skills to snipes and revos.
FUCKING. FUN.

> Whereas BL2 most guns were damn near pinpoint.

I have to agree.
>>742958767
>Have you found you can meddle with physical traits to any extent?
Yes. The universe will bend if you apply enough pressure.
Every action has a consequence though.
>>742958881
>didnt have to make the game kinda short
I'm sure they had their reasons for it, though I agree with you on that.

>replay it as Mordy.
I didn't like him. The only sniper I could ever play was Zer0.

>a blue pistol you found in Zarpedon's chest
That's TPS, I'm talking about BL2.
Comparing the accuracy in BL1 to BL2, BL2 had MUCH MUCH better accuracy, also bullets didn't take 20 fucking years to reach their targets.
>>742959007
>they're like obsolete and useless beyond Normal.
Hell naw. Double Vladof ARs is the shit. If I remember correctly he had a kill skill that gave fire rate, and one that gave + fire rate the longer you held the shooters in his ability.
With 80~ rounds in both mags and fire rates of like 20+ in both. That shit was FUN. Nothing ever killed me and I melted every enemy.

Just use his ability, walk up to an enemy tank everything they have to throw at you, then unload 200 bullets into their crit in about 5 seconds. Ezpz.
>Smgs
Fuck those they suck

meh, they were alright.

Melee zer0 was my preferred playstyle.
I never got to play in the higher difficulties as melee though, as the person I was playing with got bored, and we quit playing.

I'm waiting for the big collapse ETA 120 years, but I won't be here to see it. ;-;

Closer to us, the tech revolution and globalization. (they will happen at the same time). This will be followed by a bunch of chaos.

What is pandoras box? Or what does it mean to schizophrenics? Ive known multiple schizos in my life , unrelated who all mentioned it in some way.

Personal intelligence enhancement at the wetware level.
I need to expand beyond this prison that is my skull.

>>742961349
I can relate (not OP)
There is forbidden knowledge in this world.
Once you gain more than you can convincingly ignore, your life is irreversibly changed.
Thing is, the red pill metaphor doesn't do it justice.
Intelligence and enlightenment is a double-edged sword, if not wielded with care you can easily bite yourself with the blade of insanity.

>What is pandoras box?
You have no idea how hard of a concept this is to explain to someone who doesn't grasp the concept.

A sane person (usually) will not have access to "Pandora's Box" (you are Pandora). It basically has the answer to any, and everything you could ever want to know. But, upon opening said box you unleash really bad things.

Now, normally this box is locked, the key is not in your reach, and you don't even see the box. Unless something is slightly different with your brain that allows you to see the box. Once you've seen it, you'll want to know what's inside. Then you'll find it's locked. What do you do when you find a locked box? You look for the key. When you find it, you have to make the choice in sacrificing everything for essentially what is unending knowledge. Now, you don't know what's what you'll get when you open the box, obviously.

This entire post is a giant metaphor because it's literally impossible to explain in literal terms.
So, I hope that helps, though it probably doesn't. You won't be able to grasp the concept off a metaphor.

>What's it like to be a schizo?
Like a rollercoaster. Ups include mania and hallucinations
downs include depression, apathy, paranoia and hallucinations.
>but what are some signs you think is kinda obvious
Hallucinations, and paranoia are the big ones, usually.

Hey anon. As a fellow schizophrenic, I'm curious if you have any hope of being successful in your life?

As for me I mostly keep my delusions under control and my emotion state is stable from an outside perspective, but the emotional toll and stress it causes makes life seem impossible.

1. Be schizophrenic
2. Play the markets
3. ??????
4. Become the little girl

There is a lot of value to be had from knowing how to live with the stressful uncertainties of reality and being able to make connections (even with a number of false positives) where others can't.

Go out and settle the intellectual frontier and you will be rewarded if you play your hand well.

That's more than I managed.
I got like 5 classes into college and just dipped out, and went right back into hiding.

For the most part, yea I'm fairly content. I could do with a little more money for weed, and I could be with the girl I love. But, you can't have everything, right?
