I like it, but it's definitely not for everyone. It can be really cheesy and the quality isn't very consistent, but it's fun. I can see it being too repetitive to binge watch. There's a real simple fix to the clusterfuck of the last two episodes. Instead of escaping, Jaime gets captured. After seeing the Tarleys fry, Tyrion pleas with Dany to let Jaime and Bron take the black. She relents which opens the door to Jon bringing trusted witnesses up to confirm the army's existence. Jaime is then chosen as Cerseis rep while Jorah volunteers to go instead of Dany.

This essentially gets them where they want to go in the story without people acting like total retards.

Tycoon second guesses Dany because his brother's fate is on the line. Jon can still leave for the wall but maybe Tyrion sees an organic route to peace if Jaime can confirm the army's existence for Cersei. And Norah's decision to act as Danys witness makes more sense than him just volunteering to leave her for a zombie hunt.

Further by having trusted advisors go, if doesn't bring into question the mechanics of how the horde works south of the wall.

Jaime being captured and separated from Cersei also opens the door for Euron to cause shit via interloping at Kings Landing.

You can still have giant battles. Just make the set up less stupid.
