Made entirely from nature. Thus why the children of the forest had plenty of it and would actually offer bundles of it to the Nights Watch in old ages. Buuuuuuuut season 7 is literally a filler season just to explain how, when they finally start the war against the walkers (who are literally dicking around just north of the wall for years now), Cersei is still alive and Dany still isn't Queen of the 7 kingdoms.

What happened this season? The whole political situation is basically unchanged from the first five minutes. Hell, this entire episode was just to get a walker to convince Cersei to agree to a truce that literally only benefits Cersei (and on screen says she should take it).

The only reason I'm still watching is because I've invested so much time in it already.
