My house
I've never found cities comfortable, maybe someone shares my love for camping?
I love these threads I wish people made more
Sometimes riding to work can be comfy

>i just know what comfy is
So do I, and I think you are wrong.
>>741239110

This movie was the definition of comfy up until that fucking spaceship arrived.

The Bear is in the dark attic
Would have been even better if they put him in the basement

>>741239315
I posted all the good ones you mentioned. However... everyone has a different taste of what considers as comfy. For me 4chan and this culture means comfy. Reminds me good ol times...
my job can be comfy

Yep. But can never find the sort of thing I'm looking for.
Cliffs, coast, and a storm.

Watching hours of old sitcoms like Cheers, Friends, The Bachelor, King of the Hill.
>>741240552
have you ever played "Dear Esther"?
>>741240552
I literally live by the coast and see storms all the time just like that. Dark skies, black cliffs and big waves.
I must get my self proper camera..
>home sweet home, gets hammered by storms in the autumn
>>741241018
also my town it self is comfy

Nope. Not that big into games anymore.
I use this a lot when writing etc. Good to 'get away'

Lived off a harbor in Norway for a while a few years back. Didn't get many big storms but it was really comfy. Pic reminds me of it a bit but less wooden houses.

The mosque in the background makes that town look especially comfy
>>741241123
>less wooden houses.
oh we have a lot of those as well here, just further down the coast
>>741241384
Not bad, but things seem too close together to be comfy (at least in that pic).
Like the more scattered things outside of towns. Especially the fjords.
>>741241082
>mfw will never live in cozy little scandinavian town

Kill me please..

How do I operate a train Mr. Conductor sir?
>>741241519
Have no pics of, but I really suggest saving up cash and doing a Norwegian road trip along the coast. Especially overnight.
Highways go under mountains etc and if you do it overnight, you'll often round a bend and suddenly see a comfy lit up village on the shore.
Comfy as all fuck.
>>741240860
I like this
>>741241468
Yep fishing villages here are often very closely together.
I prefer the river towns inland.
>>741241636
Could never afford it..
Something about the sunlight.
I love waking up around 12 on weekends. Laying in bed, cuddling. And the sun is shining through.
Makes me feel relaxed. I breathe a lot slower. It feels good.
>>741239103
I had a job once where I biked to work every day because it was easier than trying to find parking, I actually really enjoyed riding in the winter.
>>741241018
>>741241082
Why do people live in places like that? Gotta be cold as FUCK all the time and moisture from the sea gotta cause havoc with cars..
People are not designed to live like fucking polar bears...
>>741241921
I always ride to work as well. 22 km one way.
Feels good. Snow is just a bonus.
>>741241927
Nigga take your negativity somewhere else
>>741241907
Gives me a headache. I think darkness is more comfortable.
Same with cold weather, just chill in a thick blanket. So much nicer than sweating in the sun.

Frankfurt Straße In Offenbach, Germany.
I was born in Offenbach, I haven't been there in years but this is my favourite part of town.
Even though I hate cities usually, something about this makes me comfy as fuck. ;D
Probably the fuck ton of shops in one place.
Santa Fe is a comfy place. Not the first American city to come to most people's minds, but it's beautiful.
>>741242246
I work in moenchengladbach, and depending on where you are, and what time of day you are there, it's quite comfy aswell
>>741242534
Comfy. Reminds me of home.
>>741241811
Never say never anon.
Even if you can only put aside a pittance at a time, you'll eventually be able to do it. And it would be all the more rewarding for it.

>>741243274
Yes, life is very hard here
>>741243315
I did, it was amazing. I feel really bad for the 25 and under crowd that only knows this shit eating world.
>>741243449
I miss a world where, among other things, mobile phones were prohibitively expensive.
>>741241927
some people much prefer consistent cold to consistent heat.
Plus the further away from the equator you go the more 'chill' people are.
>>741243536
And the internet was for nerds only, not a sales pitch with a dual hive mind.
>>741241406
wow looks super remote.
>>741243649
Life without internet was pretty comfy too to be honest.
Or at least when that (of computers in general) were too expensive too.
>>741239141
Great post, faggot.
>>741243656
To me, that sort of thing is the definition of comfy.
Only reason to be rich in my mind is to have a massive "just fuck right off" piece of land like that.
>>741242315
I've only ever drove through it, looks nice, but far too remote also know that it would be tough to grow weed underground over there so fuck that.

>>741243449
What was it like growing up in an era where forming meaningful relationships meant you had to actually talk to another human being, you lucky bastard?
>>741243696
Where the fuck is THIS???
THIS image is fucking amazing!!! I want to stare at it high on shrooms!
>>741243768
hear here anon
>>741243899
Not same anon but remember it too.
You could strike up a conversation with a stranger anywhere and you'd at least get a reply.
People stepped in when something was going on.
Kids played out in streets and went cycling without hassle all day.
If you went on a bus or train, people were chatting or looking out windows or reading paper and you usually didn't hear some faggot's music blasting all over the place.
The worst thing about it is knowing what it was like and knowing it won't return.
>>741243899
I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale so it wasn't hard to find things to do or people to hang out with. Interests were more individual so each person had their own interesting aspects, everyone brought their own personal abilities and interests to the table.
Thinking about it now, it really was radically different.
>>741244087
All because the Bush administration pulled some strings and off went 911
then the US and the rest of the world in turn shit itself over the supposed mudskins that were ruining our lives halfway around the globe, and everyone was taught to be fucking paranoid until some of us just decided to stop watching the news.
To be fair, life would be shit if we didn't take those oil fields...
does this make anyone else feel comfy?
>>741244214
my reply to the other old fag
>>741244234
>>741244234
>all because of Bush
What? No.
Shit started going downhill well before 9/11.
It wasn't just arabs that were fucking things up. And though they are (among others) a massive problem these days, you'd be a fool to think that's all it was that killed things.
>>741244284
not during hurricane season, not for me.
>>741244304
I quit watching TV years ago too, it's fucking cancer.
And, I have noticed a lot more random people trying to be more personable in the last year or so. There may be hope yet.
>>741244284
Not bad. Have a few alternate comfy pics too.
>>741244284
I do
>>741244333
Nice trips.
What do you think tipped everything sideways for us then?
I just meant I feel Bush's administration had some sort of role in it, I don't honestly believe he or his general cabinet had the general intelligence to be trusted to pull something like that off and not fuck it up or blow up evidence in some way. I also obviously can't prove that was the case in any way, but the argument for it seems compelling.
>>741244496
These days it seems tame, but 'cable TV culture' and computers.
Computers because while becoming 'interconnected', people became isolated. And that translated to the real world eventually.
'Cable TV culture' because shock value became normalized. So you first had one edgy faggot on TV, suddenly everything was an edgy faggot on TV, suddenly you saw them in the real world too.
Computers coupled with that just allowed the edgy faggotry to spread faster and easier.
Basically the spread of popular culture which ignored the values and traditions that brought civilization to that point purely to make a profit.
I don't mean going to church or any of that, but just basic interaction.
Add onto that the internet.
Add further onto that the rise of 'gangsta rap'
Add onto that still mobile phone zombies.
It's a perfect storm of horrible things that are 'cool' which just killed society.
>>741244430
I hope so man, I stopped dating awhile back cuz girls my age (25) are basic and borderline retarded, or my luck really is as bad as it seems. The only women I honestly click with are twice my age and I'm not into that.
I would love to just TALK to a girl, and that to me sounds kind of silly but I really can't have a convo with a psuedo-barbie doll who just parrots media slogans and can't seem to begin to think for themselves...
>>741244496
Jimmy Carter allowed GM to outsource to Mexico, the slipperiest slope ever. Reagan made the Presidency a meme. Clinton handed our entire economy to China. W. Bush cemented the 1% as nearly gods with deregulation. Obama gave the 1% superPACs to freely elect only people that are 100% loyal to them.
I'm the FL oldfag and voted in 2000. Bushe's name was next to Gore's picture, yes people are that stupid. Gore's name was next to Pat Buchanan in Palm Beach County, a County that is all black on one side and super rich jews on the coast, Buchanan won there...
>>741244718
I like your thesis, I have taken notes.
I tend to agree but that's when I grew up, fuck if I really know, you know? I get to hear about it from the elders in my life but they're such a mixed bag anyways.
I sincerely believe American media to this day is brain cancer incarnate however.
>>741244496
please stop, there is literally nothing less comfy than a discussion about politics
>>741244838
Gore's pic, not name.

Change doesn't happen on your schedule guy.
Stick to the images if you hate it that much.
>>741244874
It wasn't just America either.
Australia went through the same thing and few others.
What you see now in the US as "you're racist because" was there due to Aboriginals. Their propaganda of 'poor darky' started early and was rarely contested. At first because everyone knew better, but eventually because everyone believed it because.. Nobody contested it.
In Europe it was the diffusing of culture. WW2 guilt and "and need for labor despite the unemployment" meant mass importation of people that largely refused to work anyway under the guise of them being "temporary/guest workers" that just never left.
Politicians and businesses/billionaires selling out whole nations to profit in one way or another while appealing to lowest common denominator.
Add onto that the social changes touched on in >>741244718
and you can see how the west is going to die.
