No, despite having several employees contribute to the C++ standard. Google is a big company, and takes a long time to upgrade. On my particular project we limit ourselves to C++11.

Look at any JS benchmarks at the time. No JIT, super slow. If anyone else is interested, download FireFox 3.0 and run the Sunspider benchmarks. Compare that to Chrome/Chromium. World of difference.
