Theres a reason ALL CS/overwatch pros use 400-800dpi. High DPI makes the mouse scan the mousepads surface mlrw frequent. Which results in jitter. Meanwhile low DPI makes more of a smooth line because it dosent register all jitter(like dust and sht).

DPI should always be low and your sense should never be more then a 360 turn from the left to right of your mousepad movement. I prefer about 200degrees

At home i checked it and it worked perfectly except that the wheel was dirty as fuck and wouldnt roll smooth. no big problem fixing that and since then the g400 is banned to the drawer. lucky me i guess

I have the same mouse. I reccomend that you don't set your DPI to anything other than multiples of 800 that are x2 or x4, otherwise you might get fucked up sensor pixels, not clean divisions. I watched a video where a Logitech engineer explained how DPI set to anything other than those three numbers causes extra jitter. Also set your sens to 3, get that good 14.88 inches/360 of German Precision Engineering.

I have it, and it has its upsides and downside. It has great tracking, Corsair has very good RGB software, it's a bit on the heavy side even without any of the weights.

The side textures will eventually go from grainy to smooth due to the friction from your hand, but it's not hard to get used to.

Overall, it's a pretty good mouse, rather niche with the side buttons.

After almost a year of use, it has held up well and the aluminum chassis that it has still looks quite nice, it is super sturdy.

Another note, the reason I went for it, aside from getting matching Corsair stuff (hated the K70, though, upgraded to Ducky Shine 6), I bought it because it had one of the newest sensors in the market at that time. Dunno about today, a bit of research will go a long way.
