No way to really save it per se, but you can stop damaging it. And what the other anon said about not letting it get below 30% is kind of right. Certain batteries are intended for full drainage before charging, like laptop batteries and larger capacity power banks, but with a phone you want to turn it off and charge it once you drop between 30 and 20%. I have not seen this take place, and even so I refuse to believe such matters would occur on an iphone or mouse. What you say could be true in some cases, but I'd presume this case with the mouse or your standard "provided" charger for your devices would be unaffected by this apparent capability of batteries to store "more energy"?
I know in recent years due to personal experience and observation that current iphone and android models still contain a chip that will block any electrical current from entering once it reaches it's cap. I know they still work as intended to. If that's the case, I would presume whatever the fuck this mouse is, it's the same. There is no logical reason to put that charging port on the bottom of the mouse. If they found an issue that "forced" them to place it there, it's retarded design on their part.
