I first read "The man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed" when The Drawing of the Three was still a new release and I've been hooked ever since. I was literally a male Annie Wilkes waiting for the next book to release all the way to the last book. Last year I re read them all for two reasons 1) Wind Through the Keyhole was still unread and I did not want to read it out of order. And 2) I felt confident that a movie was finally on the horizon after more than a decade of speculation and rumor. Let me be clear, I will not watch this movie or any to follow. Based on the casting this movie will absolutely destroy the story for me. They should have made Eddie Dean a middle aged undocumented immigrant from one of the "banned" Muslim countries, Oy a Furry and Susannah must stay black because we don't want to be racist assholes now do we?
