They need to make a widescreen higher definition remake of grim Fandango. Just remastering doesn't do much. The source material can only take you so far. In the case of grim Fandango it was more about the voice acting and original soundtrack than the game play and it wouldn't have been that hard to fill out remake the rest.

An obscure little game by Sony which peaked in 2002. Isometric team-based KOTH type shit. Super fucking fun, physics based particles were so fun to master. Different modes and classes all perfectly balanced. PlanetSide would be it's spiritual successor but I would love to see this game get a true remastering.

Worth picking up again. The cutscenes were garbage when it was new, but the other graphics were decent five years later. The sniper spec was one of the units you could choose at the start of the last "official" mission of the game, and could not be used against the Fenrir, a floating battleship. Graphically speaking a game can definitely age differently then its peers of it's time. It just depends on the art style. Something that looks beautiful at the time can look like shite when you revisit it two decades later.
