yeah they can get pretty stupid but that's part of the fun. though i don't have that much experience with DC, i know the basics and a few storylines, mostly just superman/batman/flash/green lantern but there's alot of gaps in my knowledge, i'm mostly a Marvel guy. but when it comes to dc my favorite genuine story was probably the superboy prime one. people got absolutely destroyed then. loved it. though it was kinda stupid how he originally didn't have weaknesses even red sun radiation and then suddenly he did. out of nowhere, felt like the writer painted himself in a corner and just though "ah well... fuck it"
