Well, but I have and I have his H1Z1 and arma mods. PUBG is just using armas mechanics, removing most of its tactics and gunplay and adding it to a simple unreal game.

This game is amazing because of how simple and easy it is to get friends together to play it. It takes us all less than two minutes to get into a game with pretty fun gameplay that varies depending on the match and your own mood. Overrated? Also dropping far outside the circle without vehicle is also most of the time a death sentence.

If you play to a decent standard it doesn't matter what gun you have at all - having something like an M24 certainly helps, but an R1897 can do the job just as well if you're good enough. Aiming well with a P92 can beat out a fully modded AKM. With loot not being a huge decider in the game, your position in relation to the circle barely matters in the early and transitioning to the late and the final circle changes requires forethought and planning for worst case scenarios, not just sitting somewhere you think you'll be safe. Play smart, win games.

In relation to what I was saying.

The difficulty of the moba makes for more rewarding and interesting gameplay. The game has a stupidly steep learning curve and it's a ton of fun to play.

I agree that there are plenty of games out there that are fun and not particularly challenging, and mobas notoriously have toxic as fucking help communities.

I love dota. It has made me a better person. I can't say that about any other game I've ever played. I still learn and it still challenges me to get better. A lot of similarities in life. I won't always have the best to work with, but I always need to try my best and have a good attitude or shits going to get even worse. I am my best when I'm control of my emotions. I have learned a lot more about myself and who I am through this game and find it hard to believe anyone who has played it for ant significant amount of time would find it overrated.

Valve is getting greedy and the game will surely die out, in part because the game never markets itself. But this game forever changed me, and I love it and will continue to love it even if it dissolves into oblivion.

To be honest I don't see all that many people calling this a great game. They see potential in it, and it scratches an itch of theirs, but PUBG fans will be the first to admit to the plethora of flaws and bugs that they want fixed. I loved D2 as well. The game was what I spent a lot of my teenage years playing.

I was sponsored in dota for a time last year, and my organization provided us with a TeamSpeak server that their League team would also use. We would heckle each other about the variations in the games, but even they would admit that Dota was very hard to learn and that their was so much more to the game than there was to League. A lot of League players have told me to switch and go pro in League, many of them play for colleges or on semi-professional teams, and have the insight to know that the game is harder.

I tease League players. But really, gamers as a whole all share a few qualities and threads like these only serve to flame. Part of the fun of coming to 4chan is that I can be endlessly toxic to people without reprise. It doesn't make me a bad person. And I'm still real underneath the troll and flame.

Another nice part of 4chan is I can be honest as well.

I'm going to go play some dota now. Talking about it makes me excited to play it. And that's after 3000 games and 4000 hours.

Game was fucking GREAT when it first came out. Felt like the way a survival game should have. But then the updates, and more updates and more and more. The devs listened to the bawl baby scrubs and toned the difficulty down, and after some abysmal nerfs, it went to shit.

The chinese invasion server hopping didn't help much either, and allowing character/dino/gear transfers between servers only exasperated the problem. It's basically unplayable now, every server is dominated by swarms of chinese/russians.

tldr; The game was absolutely great once upon a time, now is complete and utter trash

I thoroughly enjoyed it. The same map over and over and the same guns over and over and the same vehicles over and over is beginning to get a little dull. Also the netcode is absolutely terrible so shit happens that makes you wonder if someone's hacking or just lag/desynch.

A lot of bugs to iron out and could really use some new content, but it's still pretty solid despite being early access.

Diablo 3 was good at first. Well, better. There were (and I think still are) class balance issues. Then they took away trading. Then they took away any skills that helped the party so you were just focused on buffing your own power.

Plus the fact that there was no penalty for dying. Sure, you have to pay some gold for armor repair, but that can also be overridden with some gear, and even then, it isn't a big deal.

I'd play the game if they brought back trading, group skills and put a minus item find chance for ____hours after you died.
