Before we were assaulted by another wave of poorly hacked up German Industrial music, I'd caught that my date's name was Annalise. She led me over to the bar where we each downed three shots of shitty vodka. She then proceeded to order a Baja Rosa for herself and a whisky for me. The DJ mixed into another track which made the whole crowd start jumping up and down for some reason. More importantly, Annalise was jumping too. I think it would be possible if you built the brain up and then specifically tore it down. Despite retards being one thing or another, it WOULD be possible to mold a human into something that acts like a fluffy with a combination of brain damage, training, and psychosis, and while obviously within the realm of science fiction in reality, genes could technically build a brain into a disfunctional shape. It's not like they would evolve into this form naturally, they would be designed by human beings to be this way.

I think your bigger objection is probably that most fluffy writing are nonsensically contradictory, with different writers allowing Fluffies to accomplish vastly different things that seem to be similar on the surface, for example confusing a square block going into a round hole as a fit is vastly better than confusing a square block for a circle block as just things. The exact level of fuckedness is always fluctuating in the fiction.

> After which i start taking some of them out of the holder they are in and place the ones that will obviously be called "bestest babeh" in the boxes.

> While going down the line i found only one alicorn of the bunch, a bright green female, too bad it was not a male, need more alicorn stallions but they are even rarer than female alicorns, at least she will sell for a good amount.

True, the fiction doesn't lend itself well to reality. Much of the fandom seems to deal with an almost Blade Runner version of things and Fluffies are replicants built from the ground up to be deliberately limited in some areas. Also just the overall truth that it takes more patience than busy people have to give to make a fluffy, or a human retard, into a competent being. I could almost see fluff-licants being marketed as a way to prevent abuse between humans - elder abuse for example. Tack on some dishonest team of scientists who publish psychological studies to the effect that everyone should have a flufflicant to release their "dark triad urges" to prevent the abuse of "real people", a dash of SJW railroading...I've got a little universe going already. Fluff-stuff definitely takes the artistic shape the user wishes of it in the end.

As for real biology I think it's probably totally impossible with just genetics, behavior modification maybe but with just genetics I think the "stacked" construction and evolution of brains makes it impossible without a ground-up approach at which point Fluffies would be AI expressed in "designed carbon" in a rather Craig Venter sort of approach? Synthetic life? Anyway, it's like...either this thing has a neocortex or it doesn't, either it has an orbitofrontal assembly or it doesn't.

So once upon a time there was Phineas Gage, he basically got a metal rod through the brain driven by explosives. He became rather like a smartie for a while, more intelligent certainly, but approaching DIS SMARTIE LAND NAO levels of social retardation. But he eventually got better, his highly plastic human brain rewired to replace the missing chunks of meat and he calmed down into an entirely normal person with an incredible story to tell nontheless. So in terms of fluffies I'm worried whatever sort of brain was made without a ground-up AI-like process it would have this self-repair capacity and would just rebuild the available neurons.
