Atheism is simply the rejection of the claim that God exists.
It's not claiming anything or making an opposite statement.
some of us allow a variable to exist and try to put something there and test if it works scientifically, others just slap God on it and attribute total provable BS to it.

You don't get to make a claim as significant as the existence of God and point to a book that is flawed and violent as fuck (as all Abrahamic religions BTW).
