>>
I should add that its bruised in the middle and is very itchy.
>>
>>739568730

Maybe a spider bite? Should be fine if it doesn't turn black and you aren't a diabetic.
>>
Enjoy your Lyme's disease.
>>
>>739568730
Two puncture marks like that usually means a spider. If you live somewhere with dangerous spiders you might want to visit the hospital.
>>
Tick bytes? Lyme disease?
>>
You have hives. You been scratching it and it's starting to blister.

Spider would make sense, seeing as I work with trees. Got stung by bees the same day.
I've had spider bites before but none that became this big.

>>
>>739570586
Well I don't live in a fucking rain forest where tarantulas and giant huntsmens are wondering up people's pants. He'd know what bit him if a spider big enough to have a bite mark from fangs that are an inch apart did it. Spiders don't even leave marks like that either.
My spiders include windows and brown recluses, if those aren't proper spiders to you then idk what to tell you. Recluses are not fun when your skin is sloughing off.

If he was bit by a spider that big in australia, I think he'd know what bit him. As I recall from a lot of youtube videos of spiders bite from large spiders, they are not pleasant and result in quite a lot of pain. Also, they don't leave that mark, either.

Spider keeping guy, back again. I hate to say this, but, Huntsmen Spiders DO live in areas other than rainforests and Australia. In fact, if it is a spider that bit OP, I would say a huntsman. Of course, if you're working with trees, you can feel pain due to being cut by them, etc. so he might have just brushed it off. Or, a BIG ASS BROWN RECLUSE, mainly due to the fact that on a normal bite (or early in severe) they have a bull's-eye shaped ring. Shit. That'd be a big ass recluse. I want that now. Damn it.
>>
OP here

I always intended to see my doctor this was merely out of curiousness. I live in Canada its "free"
I've had plenty of Tick bites with "the classic bullseye" pattern and this feels and looks different. My guess is still on a pissed off spider that bit me twice.

looks like you got bit twice by a brown recluse spider

the solution is to soak a washcloth in the hottest water you can withstand touching, not boiling but visibly steaming, and press over top of the site of the bites to open the pores and start releasing the lymph from the subcutaneous layer

keep wiping it down after doing this every hour or so until it starts to settle down, and reapply moisturizer to the skin every time you do

soaking it in a hot bath with epson salts and massaging the leg while you're in the tub to get the venom out through the pores will also help

expect it to heal in like 4 weeks if you keep cleaning it and massaging the pus out, and to scar for months, possibly years (there should be a small indentation in the skin once it's actually finished healing)

>>
>>739575996
it effects different people in different ways, people whose skin melts away are the unlucky ones with poor immune systems, what's going to happen for you is that it's just going to melt two little holes right where it bit you while an entire 2-3 inch halo surrounding the bites swells up with lymph and white blood cells and your body tries to process the venom, and the furious itching spreads up and down your leg, and the more you scratch it the more it's gonna burn and itch and sting

cover it with a washcloth soaked with hot af water man
>>
>>739568730
lime... very serious!
go to a doctor and take car of it
>>
>>739576112
This is not lyme. The lyme ring does not itch and it its surface is more smooth. This looks like a form of urticaria or hyves. Triggered by either an insect bite, sun/UV, any substance you might be sensative to.
Consult a doc. Might want to get some antihistamines such as desloratadine and something to treat skin infection. Antibiotics and cortisone steriod creams works.
>>
>>739574873
You had to scratch didn't you? *sigh* Go to a doctors office and get some antibiotics you fuck wit.
>>
>>739577024
stop giving him stupid advice

first: he should go to a doctor, he should have gone days ago actually

second: a brown recluse bite has necrosis within 48 hours. you're right that the amount of necrosis may differ from case to case, but there's no necrosis here after 5 days - it's definetly not a cell destroying toxin of any kind

the symptoms are text book examples of a tick bite induced lyme disease

OP is going to die from this, as there is no cure
>>
Yes let's get advice from 4chan good choice we are all doctors here Ps scratch it as hard as you can
>>
>>739577352
Lyme can be treated with antibiotics if you are quick enough. Changes of recovery are pretty high.
>>
>>739570347
Not a medfag. No self respecting medfag would call latentive period "incubation period".

But that really does actually look like Lyme's. Get to a hospital as soon as possible.
>>
>>739577659
lyme is a virus, antibiotics won't do shit to it
>>
>>739577352
it really depends on how many times you've been bitten by other venomous arachnids before, I've been bitten a lot, this is pretty much what happens every time I get bit by a brown recluse, the strong immune response prevents the necrosis from spreading, but the itching and irritation from the immune response is intense

you may be wondering
>how does one get bit by brown recluse spiders with regularity
>is he doing it intentionally
all I can say is that spiders find me tasty and like crawling up my body

on the upside, OP stands a good chance of surviving a black widow bite on his own

>>
it isn't lyme disease, ticks won't make big double puncture wounds that are that far apart, and one tick won't bite you and inject venom twice in two different places, if a tick bites you it's going along for the ride and it's gonna fill it's belly, there would be a big blood smear if he scratched it off under his pants, and probably head parts still buried at the site of injury

the only other thing it could be is some other kind of not-brown-recluse spider (possible) or bed bugs (bed bugs don't make twin bite makes though, they don't have spider fangs)

ticks don't inject venoms

they're simply infected by different bacterias and transfer them via bite

also, ticks often bite multiple times until they get a "good spot" to suck blood

>>739573973
Underrated post!
>>
>>739580163
since the bite "marks" are swollen, I guess the heads of the ticks are still in there - under your skin

the bodies got rubbed off or you scratched them off without noticing

it's very likely that you're still carrying around those ticks inside you, for days now, that's why you've got infected

in any case, your skin looks like a textbook example of lyme disease and there's pretty much nothing else that would look like this after 4 days
>>
>>739580163
you won't see a deer tick (the ones that carry lyme)
>>
>>739568730
Pretty sure that is a Black Widow bite. You should seek medical attention.
>>
>>739580163
Just get yourself checked you fucking moron, regardless if you think it's lymes or not it's definitely something and should be tended to by an onsite medical professional

over a dozen people in this thread (myself included) have told you that it's verly likely lyme disease.

why the fuck aren't you on your way to a doctor right fucking now?
>>
>>739581230
Hmm, well I'll just wait a week and see if it goes away.
>>
>>739581413

>>
>>739581230
Its 4:38 am..
>>
>>739581413
lyme disease can only be treated during the very early stages

the longer you wait, the more the chance that you won't get rid of it and goind to die a slow and painful death
>>

DO YOU KNOW WHAT LYMES DISEASE IS FAGGOT?
>>
>>739569933
it's nerve gas actually
no srsly that's lyme disease, incubation time is mostly 2-3 weeks
>>
>>739581845
Not really, but I refuse to believe I have some disease with a gay name like Lymes.
>>
>>739581911
>2-3 weeks

OK. Then I don't see why these fags are so worried about me waiting a week.
>>
>>739581921
Lyme's Disease is a infectous disease carried by, most commonly, ticks. if not treated within 1-2weeks (the most common incubation period) it can have life-long lasting effects including, but not limited to, arthritis in the joints, cognitive difficulties, chronic fatigue, and sleep disturbances, even after antibiotic treatment, and in the short-term fever, chills, aches, and pains. (these can be treated)

But IF YOU GO TO A DOCTOR BEFORE IT SETS IN YOU CAN AVOID LIFE LONG CONSEQUENCES FAGGOT
>>
>>739581962
Also, its MOST COMMONLY 1-2weeks, but it can set in after days, or years, or hours faggot so you need to go to a doctor as soon as possible.

I had something like that twice before; wasn't a bite or anything. You could just have some kind of thing where you get sores like that, something kind of like MRSA but not as bad (I think?).
Pop it open and getchaself some antibiotics
>>

docfag here, that's GMO herpes, you're fuked....
Not really, just a bad case of ringworm. Spiders, mites, ticks and fleas can all carry ringworm spores (it's a fungus, look it up) and leave them behind when they bite you. Go to walmart,etc.. a get a good fungicide like tenactin, et al..

Please seek a doctor immediately anon. A bit of backinfo would be appreciated, to be able to give you an idea on what has happened.. where do you live? When did you notice the bit? How long has this been now?

The red "ring" around it isn't a very good sign.. Please watch it closely if it moves (not literally, but like if it's a bit wider in diameter the next day it would be considered to move). If that's the case you either will suffer brain damage (don't know the accurate description in English). Your brain could swell for example.

I've had lyme for 13 years, caught it late and didn't do antibiotics. I'm energetic in the morning, but usually by noon or 1ish I just want to rest until the next day. My chore game is severely off because of this so the wife gets annoyed at times. I get overheated quickly now too, so something like a couple loads of laundry in the evening take serious will power.

Welcome to the party, pal.
