You will be stupid for the first 20 years of your life. If you're not a prodigy savant and are a normal person like me, then you won't get good at your hobbies until at least age 25.

At age 30, you will be a completely different person. If you've been practicing your hobby, at this age you should be quite good at it.

Well, I am an oldfag with a different point of view. I'm speaking from experience, not regrets. I waited to get married until I was 35, and I picked a girl who was traditional and stable and who loved me just a bit more than vice versa. I'm happily married almost 20 years. I have two kids and fuck anyone who tells you not to have kids, because my kids are my happiness.

You may fail many times before you succeed, but life is a marathon, and you can't quit early. I got a PhD, and having a degree is important both for what it can do for you professionally, but also in the respect that you get from others.

Know that people are basically selfish and shitty at their core, so protect yourself from that, but remember even the shittiest people sometimes have worth.

Don't waste your time trying to win over people who don't like you, because they are going to continue not to like you no matter what you do or how hard you try. Instead, give you your energy to people who love you, no matter how much you fuck up.

The money advice on here is mediocre. You'll never get rich through saving, though you'll stay out of debt. Take prudent risks on investments you can mostly control. Study in-depth the thing in which you're investing. Use lawyers to vet anything you sign.
