Trance, http://www.furaffinity.net/user/djtrance/
She's pretty cool, really nice and I've wanted to commission her for a little while.
>>738896195
Well, what a welcome to the thread. I like her a lot. If only.
Doing okay, getting a little buzzed right now. M ight have in n out for dinner
>>738896209
Good, I'm glad to hear that you're better.
Life has been as good as it can be
I've been up for nearly 24 hours now. So tired.
>>738896530
then hit the rack
>>738896494
Nice. She has really nice art, I look forward to seeing it. Also I should really get some art done of mine
>>738895638
Also have Debug Fox. He's quite wittle
Pawst your fox!
Plz
>>738896530
go chug some vodka, chuvak, that will put you down soon enough.
>>738896494
I know you do. But who knows? Maybe one day.
Sounds pretty nice.
>>738896605
I have a feeling I'll be up in a few hours if I do.
>>738896662
Don't have any. I would smoke a bowl if I could, but no weed either.
>>738896530
Make it a 124
>>738896639
You should man, I really like Tori.
I'm excited to see it. Hopefully done soon.
>>738896777
I hope so, her and maybe a few others I'd love to get to know.
It's no drunk waffle house, but it's good. Have you ever tried something called power to sleep before?
It's a supplement and it can help. Exercise usually can too
>>738896777
go for a quick jog then.
exercise is key in getting good sleep.
>>738896873
I'd need to abuse a lot of caffeine to do that since I have no speed or meth.
>>738896940
I have not. I have sleeping meds, but they don't always work for me.
>>738896195
I understand how you feel, but a well made car really becomes an extension of your body once you get a feel for it. Most modern ones are crash tested and do a pretty good job of buffering against the forces applied to you in an accident
>>738896660
this isn't mine, but it's the same model I have
>>738897144
Sleeping meds can mess you up man, they can work but they're also pretty bad for you.
If you can find some, it might be worth a try. I usually take one an hour and a half before I go to bed and I'm out pretty solid. It's hippie crap but for me it works, it might be worth trying as an alternative to pot or prescription stuff
>>738897144
You should already have enough energy reserve from all the semen you swallow
>>738897144
benadryl is my go-to sleeping aid
can be habit forming if you're weird like me, but it's not too terribly bad for you at low dosages
>>738897025
Exercise often makes me sleep worse. If I exercise, my mind doesn't want to rest. Don't ask me how because I have no idea, but I've gone for 36 hours on 3 hours of sleep and still slept only 4 that night. I'm an extremely light sleeper, so much that I often wake no apparent reason. I've just accepted that sleeping normal is absolutely impossible for me.
>>738897179
I suppose so. I guess I just need more experience.
Also, that's adorable.
>>738897313
Interesting. Thanks, I'll look into it.
>>738897508
I used to take benadryl PM (or rather generic advil/tylenol PM) when I was in high school. I took it regularly for probably a year and half and my kidneys are probably destroyed. It works but yeah it's habit forming. But goddamn it does work
>>738897594
Yeah man, just thought I might see if I could help at all
>>738897179
S/he's fluffier than Karon actually
Douglas seems to hir creator
>>738897508
Benadryl does absolutely fuckall for me. My mom tried giving me some sometimes from ages 3-13 or so, and it did nothing for me. Most things don't work for me. Not even ibuprofen or allergy medicine.
>>738897144
>>738897594
it's probably because you don't do it much. If you go for a 1/2 hour - hour long jog daily it will catch up to you within a week, trust me. Don't do it within 4 hours of bedtime though.
Okay tovarishch, this is what I think you really need to do.
You need to go backpacking for a few days. Bring good food, and hike long miles. The exercise will certainly make you tired, and sleeping outdoors will reset your circadian rhythm very quickly. No weed, no alcohol, no drugs, and no screens of anytype.
If you do this I guarantee you'll find good nights of sleep.
I think my next car is going to be a 78 four speed big block Bronco, federal model
>>738897313
Now you tell me, after convincing me to use them...
>>738897875
Nice
>>738897848
Nope. I used to work out 6 days a week and still slept like shit. It's fucking retarded, but that's just how it is. Nothing can help me sleep. It's all up to my own mind if I sleep or not.
>>738897974
Have fun finding one
>>738898005
Howdy bud. Hows it going?
>>738898054
MOAR BIG MAMA BEARS
>>738898048
hmm, get fukt then
I still think you should try sleeping outdoors for a week or two in a remote area.
>>738898072
Rough day at work, but it's the weekend so.. a little better. You?
>>738898005
They work man, it's just that you can only find them at hippie stores. They seriously knock me out
What's going on man?
>>738897791
it really isn't that bad for you as long as you keep repeated doses under 100mg or so
not really sure what chronic low doses of nsaids do, I think reducing inflammation is beneficial overall? large acute doses can definitely kill you of course
>>738897827
it has a paradoxical reaction in some people, can make them hyperactive instead of sedated
>>738897848
is probably right though, regular exercise is the most wholesome sleep aid
>>738898249
Oh, I'm just using the generic Unisom from Walgreens/CVS.
>>738898182
>MOAR BIG BEARS
[link to gfur thread if there was one]
>>738898367
No idea, I just know that taking an nsaid for that long can be bad for your kidneys. Regular doses, I'm not sure but it probably wasn't a good idea
>>738898400
Oh shit, I meant the power to sleep stuff, not the prescription or OTC stuff.
>>738898185
I'll try it if/when I can. But I guarantee I won't be sleeping any of those nights. I can't sleep in anything that isn't my own bed. Sleep is absolute Hell for me, which is why I won't get up from 15 hours of sleep like last night. Of course, I wake every half hour, but at least I can sleep at all.
>>738898367
It just doesn't do anything for me. I have no explanation for why most things don't work for me other than that I must have a retarded and extremely strong immune system.
>>738898241
Gotta work tonight and only have a one day weekend
>>738898400
generic diphenhydramine is 10 times cheaper per dose and has nearly the same effect
>>738898072
It's going to be a long hunt for one
>>738898564
exercise will only go so far though if it's being canceled out by something else you're doing. I have a feeling it may be a few things, inconsistent sleep patterns, ie circadian rhythm needs to be reset, screens before bed, and maybe a slight dependence on drugs, ie weed. I would suggest you completely cut caffeine out of your diet if you haven't.
And I think if you went on a trip you'd learn to sleep not in your bed. Trust me though, I miss my bed when I'm in the wilderness (I miss the toilet most), but there's nothing like getting sleepy the second it gets dark, it's magical. I'd bring you on a trip with me, show you the mountains, what plants to eat ;)
>>738898581
Ah, sorry..
>>738898595
Ah. I'm sure all the other drugs have done much worse to me anyway.
Is it a first-world problem if you're bummed about your checking account going from 5 digits to 4?
>>738898947
Thanks but don't worry about it. I've known I was gonna be doing this weeks ago
>>738899033
Probably
Also, I'm usually no longer tired if I lie in bed like now. I was yawning all day, and after saying fuck it and lying down an hour ago, I'm not tired and not yawning.
Yep.
>>738899036
Ah..
>>738899085
Hm, my bad then.
>>738899033
I dunno. I'd just say that you've dipped below what you were at.
But I do know I saw Zigsa on facebook yesterday
>>738899033
probably the opposite actually, with hyperinflation and all
>God damnit my checking account went up from 7 to 8 digits overnight! It's all worthless now!
>>738899260
But why
>>738899320
Shut up you.
>>738898947
the human body is pretty good at dealing with foreign substances in the body, what with most of the plants trying to kill us and all, evolution and such
really most 'drugs' available over the counter are absolutely safe unless large doses are taken in a short amount of time, or moderate doses are taken consistently over a course of years.
>>738899033
depends on how much debt you have, I suppose
>>738899091
meditation and breathing exercises could be helpful in lulling yourself to sleep
could also try "counting" sheep ;)
>>738899433
>>738899433
Because furry facebook pages posted your commission. I think people really like her.
>>738899519
I don't mean just OTC though.
Ah shit, good point. It's negative 4 digits with student debt...
>>738899560
Talking shit behind my back like I wouldn't know.
>>738899582
Ya, I got some "propositions" over Notes based on that one. But I'm more wondering why you follow the furry Facebook pages.
Do these beings believe in God? I feel tempted to bed with one of them but not if it's connected to anything demonic.
>>738899757
>Ah shit, good point. It's negative 4 digits with student debt
fuck that's gonna be me in like 3 more years
>>738899757
Propositions?
There are a few good ones that I've found some artist through... but most of it I've already seen. And it's better than furry twitter

>>738898906
Already started with cutting out the drugs. My circadian rhythms are just fucked. Also, I can only sleep during the day. I slept 15 hours because I went to sleep at 6am. I can't sleep during the night for the life of me. But the screen thing doesn't affect me. I have no problems falling asleep; I just can't stay asleep.
Already did, it was called rehab. Spent a week there, and was even given double doses of my sleep meds, and never slept more than 3 hours a night. I really wish I was making all this shit up. Trust me when I tell you I've tried everything. My mom hypothesizes that it's because I used to have night terrors when I was about 2-5. After they stopped was when I started sleeping like shit. That and seeing ghosts until I was 7. I have too many horrifying and unexplainable things happen to me when I was asleep, like waking up and seeing a very obvious shadow standing in my doorway, and freaking out so bad that I had to jump down from my bunk onto my sister's bed and wake her up before screaming my lungs out after it stayed there. Or hearing in the basement through the vents what I can only say closest resembles a xylophone being repeatedly hit on one note, and proceeding to scream my lungs out that time as well. I heard it in different houses until I was 10. So that's probably why sleep is impossible. I've also never mentioned any of this stuff because I know everyone is just going to ghosts aren't real and that it's bullshit.
>>738900369
is that a threat?
>>738900528
Ya, but not from me.
>>738900524
>xylophone being repeatedly hit on one note
Tinnitus
>>738900795
No. Once again you have proven your stupidity.
>>738900524
drugs used to do you good.
you typed less
>>738900524
>the screen thing doesn't affect me
I bet you it does....
I bet it's a combination of a bunch of different shit that is making sleep hard to come by. I'd suggest trying to find them all and mitigate them as best you can. You may just be fucked.
also, the dark figure thing might mean you're hypnagogic. I was like that a few weeks ago when traveling, I'd get sleep paralysis just before bed and feel a dark figure over me, I was able to spot it coming a few times and roll over/wake myself up fully before it happened.
>>738900848
Because there's a rational explanation to your bullshit? Sure.
>>738900991
a simple auditory hallucination sounds rational enough to me
even perfectly "sane" people get them from time to time, though they tend to manifest as hearing one's name called, or one's phone ring
>>738900610
you're just trying to throw my off your path!
>>738900902
Quite the opposite actually. I'm just explaining in detail why I have such bad sleeping problems, but again, I know everyone is going to say that I was imagining it or something.
>>738900976
I've had at least one sleep disorder since I was 2, so it's very likely I have more.
No. I've had plenty of times where I've had sleep paralysis, and I was wide awake in both instances. It was still there after I jumped on my sister's bed which is why I started screaming for my parents. I'm not making any of this shit up. I can tell you don't believe me, but that's fine. No one ever listens to me.
>>738901545
your were definitely having some type of full fledged hallucination then
....or maybe....
>>738901251
What it described was textbook tinnitus tho
Also, I dokn't know whether you meant hallucinations literally or rather auditory illusions butt fur example I often hear my phone ring or my name called when I'm listening to smth w/ my headphones on
>>738901545
>Quite the opposite actually
Types a wall of useless text where seven words would suffice.
You are going retarder by the minute. Take meds, they've been given to you by much smarter and responsible men then you.Take extra I'd say. much
>>738901823
your response is surprisingly amusing
Why do I even bother trying to explain shit to people when I know they're not going to believe me. I don't fucking hallucinate because I'm not the only one in my family who experienced this shit. My sister even saw the God damn thing too, and my mom has seen it, and I've had many other paranormal experiences along with most of my family members. But whatever. Clearly I'm just delusional and my sleep disorders are just hallucinations too
>>738901545
Suppose it doeskn't even matter if they're real or knot because they're real to you in any case
>>738902140
That's because I'm pissed the fuck off that people just say "oh you were just imagining it". I know what the fuck I saw because I wouldn't have these problems if it didn't.
>>738901872
the term for that is an auditory hallucination, the mechanism is basically the same for how schizophrenics perceive voices - only their auditory processing is faulty constantly, rather than momentarily - and of course coupled with delusions that a rational person such as yourself probably doesn't posses
>>738902197
You just went full >>>/x/
>>738902278
I'm not saying there wasn't something there
but there's a difference between hallucinating and imagining.
Hallucinations WILL be real to the person experiencing them, but not to anyone else. So as far as you're concerned, yeah, it fucking happened
>>738902402
Fine, I don't give a fuck. Call me crazy all you want, doesn't meant shit to me anyway.
>>738902458
And I wasn't the only one who saw it. All of my family members saw ghosts in the house I grew up in. All of them. But go ahead, just keep believing what you want.
>>738902579
Could be
> But go ahead, just keep believing what you want
same to you
This discussion perfectly exemplifies why /x/ is such a shit board now.
>>738902393
Well I still have an issue w/ using "sane" and "hallucinations" in the same sentence
Also, on topic of schizoes, Dash sure could be one

new bros >>738903057
>>738902864
I don't imagine shit or hallucinate. I never have. I was around real schizos when I was in rehab, and they are very clearly hallucinating when they do.
>>738903153
usually the person hallucinating doesn't know it though
Even a healthy brain sees things that "aren't there" from time to time, the brain's fundamental sensory processing systems take a surprising amount of shortcuts - things like seeing faces in leaves or hearing voices in random noise are natural parts of how our brain looks for information in our surroundings.
I do think that certain mental states, sometimes group or collective states, are conducive to the perception of things that lack a 'physical reality' in an easily quantifiable sense, but are nonetheless perceived by the brain as fully real (and often terrifying) object/events
>>738903282
What.
No. No, no, no. That is completely wrong. The girl I talked with knew she was schizo, and knew what she as wasn't real. She would space out for even up to half an hour with this same look on her face. I sat down and talked to her about schizophrenia for half an hour, and even when she was talking about it she would have her eyes locked in the same place. I think you guys really need to read up on hallucinations and schizophrenia before you start accusing people of it.
>>738903629
I'm not accusing you of it though
dani is though
>>738902952
night dani
I'm just using the terminology in the way that I'm familiar with it, the processes and health of the brain are a lot more nuanced than simply being "sane" or "insane" with the distinction mostly being in how well one is able to function in society at large
>>738903727
You're accusing me of hallucinating despite me telling you that others saw it. That literally, completely disproves the argument that I was hallucinating. If others see it, on multiple occasions, and you have the balls to say I was hallucinating then you're a fucking idiot, and I don't feel bad about saying it because I'm sick and fucking tired of people not listening to me as if I'm fucking lying.
>>738903998
I did not accuse you of hallucinating after you told me others saw it.
boi, you're fiery right now.
If you're really that tired of, I would suggest ignoring it, or getting off. You, and you alone are letting us get to you.
>>738904289
I'm sorry. You didn't say anything so I could only assume that's what you believed. It's just that no one around me listens to me, and just blows it off like I'm lying. It really bothers me, and to be told to my face that I didn't see what I actually saw is extremely insulting. And I'll admit I've had a bad temper. But if what I said now was hard to believe, then you'd think I was truly insane if you knew why I've had such a short temper the past few weeks.
>>738904914
I believe you!
>>738899036
i didn't know I needed this until right now
