A fluffy without legs and his sadness is not something fluffies were made to deal with. Especially when the owner doesn't give them a proper introductory talk like a normal hugboxing owner would. And repetition of the lesson as needed.

The fluffy makes them sad and a little scared at least on a subconscious level, but their drive to be social prevails at first. But with time he isn't really fun to play with and mostly negative emotions are connected to him.

Later babies are most important and the father might even act more from care for his mate than malice towards the pillow. The food is a opportune and tempting target. Normal pets on friendly terms with each other steal too. When the mare has her babies we are weeks into a feedback loop process (which the owner could have prevented) of negative emotion toward the pillow. Aggression is only acted upon because of the baby. Even as they want to get rid of the pillow they simply ask the owner to remove the negative thing and not attack it on their own initiative.
