A big problem with dealing with a law enforcing, heavy taxing state is that whenever you are able to easily produce a high quantity of a valuable material (cannabis, cubes, etc) free of taxes (as in selling to friends) the state will crack down on you. In this particular case its easier to stop people from growing mushrooms than it is to find these people and tax them.

The real deal issue here is that the war on drugs has created a scam. In legalized cannabis states, it has been nothing but an economic boom and it is still not "full throttle" because of federal law.

If anything, it is these pharmaceutical companies and other corporations who are losing billions of dollars worth of control they have over people with drugs, and possibly competition in the industrial economies. Dont use corn as a substrate. Corn barely works to colonize a jar. Id use rye berries.

A substrate (for a monotub i presume you're trying to make) use horse manure/coir and mix it 50/50 with vermiculite. Then one part gypsum

Once you have colonized corn or rye berries. place them on top of the substrate then add another layer of substrate etc.

If you keep getting contams practice sterile technique. You need a pressure cooker.

Do research on shroomery and also learn a proper monotub tek.

I have two brand new pressure cookers I use and I a make sure I use the correctly. I'm starting to think my home has a mold problem as the one bathroom gets mold on the roof from the shower and I use chemicals to remove the mold once every year. I also inoculate I mn a chamber. I need some advice.

I tried them once, had a horrible trip. I threw up. I couldn't stand up straight. I was laying down on the floor just trying to hold everything together, sort of rocking back and fourth with racing thoughts through my brain as I questioned whether or not I was born inbred as a human being. What the hell do I do to avoid that happening again? I was like a 5 year old that couldn't function and I seriously thought I was lost in my own room because I didn't recognize a thing. I didn't even fuck my gf. She just tried really hard to comfort me so I wouldn't throw up again as I felt insane until the next morning. Never really felt the same thing. Certain colors like purple, red and orange give off the same vibe I had riding the trip. Idk maybe im just crazy.

I did acid religiously around that time and DMT too so maybe that has something to do with it? Only tried once but never again. Been curious again though. When you use WBS you wanna try and separate as much corn and sunflower as you can. I mean it doesnt have to be that perfect but it slows mycelium colonization the more you have. You wanna keep the milo and millet. Thats the grain you want.

They normal jars I seal with electrical take after an alchol swab. I'll be buying some silicon to do the self sealing ports. I have noticed that once I take a jar out of the pressure cooker there is a mini vacuum in the jar. When I get the needle in it either sucks some air in or pulls too much fluid from the syringe. For a filter I use the poly wool stuff

have a 1/2 inch of vermiculite at the top of your cakes to filter. and place a synthetic filter disk, micropore tape, or aluminum foil over the holes to protect it.

To keep from throwing up: make liquid shrooms. Everclear extraction is the best imo. Shrooms are made from chitin which is what shrimp tails and bug exoskeletons are made from. Our stomachs have a hard time difgesting that shit.

To keep from being confused: set and setting. Also do a smaller dose. I would have an actual reason for shrooming before hand. Like actually set out goals or things you wanna explore before you take the shrooms.

For confidence: look up ted talks about shrooms on youtube. They will talk about some of the science and therapy behind it all. And this will give you a nice "set" before tripping. And lastly when you need to calm yourself down... sing your favorite song outloud and when your done with that say OUTLOUD im on drugs and im supposed to feel this way.

So i wouldnt use tape for sure because that isnt sterile because im guessing that isnt used in the pressure cooker so theres a chance that the culprit. Its a possible contam. The silicone shit is cheap and you get it at autzone. You put it on the jar before its sterilized in the pressure cooker. Ive never noticed a suction. I also use poly fil as the filter which is another reason it shouldnt have a suction. Are you also flaming your needle before innoculation?

Ya after you separate it i let my wbs sit in water for 24 hours. Make sure you rinse that shit out like 3 times before you let it sit. Your water should not be cloudy. And it will also smell like fermentation 24 hours later. I actually will start to boil the water (right before a boil) and then poor out the wbs so the outside water steams and keeps the wbs dry on the outside. That way theres little to 0 water collection in jars. Water collection is a possible contam.

Mushrooms aren't a guarantee. It can go one way or another. The environment and your recent experiences are a big factor in the outcome. If you go into that intense of an experience and have a rough time with problems already, it's not going to be good for you. On the other hand it can be liberating.
