The gun market is a buyer's market at the moment. Realize with the number of sales and rebates out there, people have little incentive to get most used guns when they can buy a new one and get a cash back rebate or a bunch of free gear with it. Because of that, the used gun will need to be priced to move in that market. Realize the shop must also make money off of it. Violence hasn't dropped in the UK or Australia by anywhere near that amount since they banned most guns. Yes, shootings are down, but robbery, stabbings, and home invasions are all up.

And in both the UK and Australia the murder rate only declined at the same rate it had been declining prior to the ban on guns. If you graph it year by year the slope of the line was negative before the gun ban and stays on the same slope after the gun ban, showing that the ban on guns did not accelerate the drop on murders.

The same happened in the USA when we had the assault weapons ban in 1996-2005. The slope stayed the same, and there was no increase in murders when assault weapons were allowed again. The murders continued to drop after assault weapons were allowed and the few years after the ban was lifted had less murders than when the ban was in effect.

Today we have less gun murders with assault weapons legal than we had when they were banned. Society as a whole is getting a little less violent every year, gun bans don't accelerate that.

If you want superior accuracy then nothing is going to be that great out of the box. You are going to have to start getting into custom builds. Premium aftermarket barrels etc.

In that regard the AR-10 is far superior. The SCAR is a battle rifle. It isn't intended to be extremely accurate. No military issue battle rifle is. When you start talking extreme accuracy you need very tight tolerances, custom loaded bullets matched to the twist of your barrel etc.

I'm not going to name any brands because if you have to ask you clearly aren't into the sport enough to be that accurate anyways. It's like a 12 year old asking if a Ferrari or Mclaren is faster. Both are way out of your league and you don't have the skill to operate either of them at 100% of their abilities.

The SCAR is probably more accurate than you are, and it isn't that accurate.

I have a MP shield, a ruger lc9, an ar-15, a Remington 870, and a ruger p89.

I find the p89 provided the resilience and durability that the MP shield does. It's really big though so conceal is hard unless you're 6'3 and got a little bit of a beer belly. That's me.

Lc9 is a bit more delicate but in the sense of handling. Shot placement isn't very good for me but that's cause it's supposed to be used by someone smaller. It's nice nonetheless for really compact carrying.

Ar 15 is an Anderson rifle that I bought parts separate for. Real easy to put together just watch YouTube videos if interested.

870 is a shotgun. Not much else to say. Heavy, strong, pump action, not much chance to jam on you.

If you want to modify an AR-15 build it from scratch. There is absolutely no point to buying a prebuilt one then immediately throwing away 50% of the parts.

Just buy only the parts you want the first time. It's not hard to build one. LEGOs for adults. The only difficult part is getting the head spacing correct for the barrel/bolt. That takes some precision. After that any retard can put one together.

The only part you need a firearms license to order is the lower receiver. Buy that through a gun shop. Every single other part can be mail ordered to your house.
