If the theory of an infinite multiverse is true, it does not necessarily mean that a universe exists for all possibilities at a subatomic level.

How many numbers are between 2 and 3? Infinite, right? But 4.0 is not one of them, nor is 55, or 79.

Basically this means that just because there are infinite parallel universes does not mean that OP isn't still a raging faggot in any of 'em

Is that like globes of sea water, ice, then fresh water?

Also, aliens could be us from the future, gone back in time to help start what we are today and what we will become to help ourselves be what we are today over and over and over and over and over and over and over with no purpose, no beginning, no end. Once far enough into the infinity that we ourselves seem to be the only things ejecting through the unknown. At a point which little is left unknown but the scraps of mysteries shrouded among our past. THE END. Unless there is some crazy shit going down in alt dimensions. As a kid I speculated a lot about God and why he left us. I've always believed there has to be a god, rather a thinking being created this shit around us then non being roks n shet.. and thought about how god went about his discoveries of the universe and so on. First the atoms, and his own projects and trials till he discovered planets and stars and so on till the day life happened and he was like DAMN. And now at this point we're like atoms to whatever he's come up with by now.

Quantum Entanglement
>>
>>738344437
The universe will eventually only consist of isolated galaxies whose light cones will never intercept another galaxy. The CMB will be too diffuse to detect. Any life that evolves at this point will truly believe they are completely isolated and only their galaxy exists. And it may as well, seeing as they could never reach another one. They won't know about the origin of the universe, or galaxy evolution. They will develop theories similar to General Relativity and Quantum Field Theory. They will never have cosmology. They will never know the truth that we know now.
>>
>>738348155
Only thing organized religion got correct. We were created in "god's image" but what we fail to realize, is that we are far smaller than what that being might consider a subatomic particle. Just a fraction of a fraction in it's existence, yet our little blue marble is serving it's purpose like the cells in our own bodies serve theirs. We don't cry when a cell dies, yet it could be someone's entire universe.

They say that in space no body can hear a scream (you can't make sounds in space) but then how can there be a big bang?
>>
>>738348829
No new galaxies will form at this point. The radiation gets redshifted so much that it essentially carries to power to transmit.

It is due to cosmic inflation. The zero point energy of empty space itself (often interpreted as inherent quantum instability) is physically pushing everything in the universe apart. The effect doesn't show near to strong gravitational objects such as galaxies because the ZPE is pretty weak.So galaxies will stay together.

The dust and gas that makes up the intergalactic medium will not be dense enough to resist expansion, so it will be pushed apart before any new galaxies can form.

The gravity from black holes is so strong, it literally sucks in and destroys space-time. So light carries on travelling in the direct it's going - relative to its local space-time. But that space-time is being warped and sucked back into the black hole. Mass not required for that.

>>
>>738349189
In a universe with zero curvature, the local geometry is flat. The most obvious global structure is that of Euclidean space, which is infinite in extent. Flat universes that are finite in extent include the torus and Klein bottle. Moreover, in three dimensions, there are 10 finite closed flat 3-manifolds, of which 6 are orientable and 4 are non-orientable. These are the Bieberbach manifolds. The most familiar is the aforementioned 3-Torus universe.

In the absence of dark energy, a flat universe expands forever but at a continually decelerating rate, with expansion asymptotically approaching zero. With dark energy, the expansion rate of the universe initially slows down, due to the effect of gravity, but eventually increases. The ultimate fate of the universe is the same as that of an open universe.

A flat universe can have zero total energy.

Well it doesn't "suck in" any more than a star or planet does. Truthfully, we don't know what happens to spacetime beyond an event horizon, but it doesn't get destroyed. It will just be described by a metric that we don't yet understand. You are right about light traveling in a straight line through curved spacetime. In fact everything does this. You are also right about mass not being required. It actually has to be calculated from the energy-momentum tensor. It is an abstract mathematical object that takes into account several different quantities such as mass, pressure, momentum (flux) and density. If you managed to accelerate a mass fast enough, it would end up inside it's own event horizon and become a black hole.
>>
>>738349794
I think that's how the universe recycles itself, black holes eventually suck in everything they can (including each other) until there is just one left. The last one continues to compress all the matter/energy that used to be the universe until it explodes in a new Big Bang and starts the cycle all over again.
>>
>>738344437

Well since the official story is there was a singularity that contained all of the matter/energy of the universe and it exploded creating everything. But they can't tell you where this singularly came from or how it formed I'd say it's all best guess, that was my guess, what's yours?

Well the singularity happened everywhere. It happened in the space your body is taking up now. All of spacetime was compressed into that singularity. Every bit of space that exists today was the site of the big bang.

The thing with magnets is that there is no human that can explain exactly how they work. Earth is also the only known planet in existence that has magnets on it.
Also if magnets were just naturally laying around why didn't we know about them before the 20th century?
The most recent scientific idea that I read in a scientific journal was that maybe they are invented by aliens and brought here for some kind of experimental reasons.

How come the Universe breaks the 2nd law of thermodynamics?
It should become more chaotic but instead from the big bang till today it has become more predictable.
If the laws of physics can be broken then can we really trust them?
If we can't trust them, isn't that proof that God could exist?

Because space is expanding, there is no such thing as conservation of energy. Take a photon for example. It has a certain energy when it's emitted. As it travels, space expands and it is redshifted, i.e. it's energy decreases. But the energy goes nowhere.

if you could travel at light speed to the edge of the known universe.(about 13.8 billion lightyears away) To you, It would seem like only 45 years due to time dilation.

Billions of years would pass for non-relativistic travelers, and the universe would look nothing like it does now, so no reference points to return home (if it still existed)

You'd be lost in the void for eternity.

That is phatetic how so many people use lightyears. There is non evedence for that. If sun is 3-4k miles away so we cant assume other stars are so far away. Just much closer which we will never reach.
>>
>>738349859

Sometimes I think the shit we hear about planets and stars lightyears away, blackholes, etc is all made up, just like how we think about the shit humans said about space 1000 years ago.

A lot of it isn't 100% fact it's just their best assumption and theory. Like when you hear about planets billions of light years away but somehow they know it's core is made of fucking diamond or something, when realistically it could be something we've never heard of that gives the impression that it's diamond.

They aren't lying they're just making educated guesses based on the tests they can perform, they aren't physically there to verify these things so they can't say with 100% certainty.
