Fuck, ok. Let me give you the best advice I can give you. I got these from some fuck that lied to me about it and I ended up being highly allergic. Like golf balls under my skin where I get bitten kind of bad. Surefire way to get rid of them.

Pack up all your bedding and take it to a laundrymat. Give it a couple cycles in the wash and the hottest dry cycle you can. Pack it in black trash bags and leave it outside to cook. Mattresses get locked in plastic cases or better thrown out all together if you can.

Then the fun part, you want to find some bug spray, the kind you find in gallon containers at the store meant to line your home with to keep bugs out. They are potent, you'll want to wear a mask when you do it. Spray your walls, carpet, furniture, douse whatever you can with this shit. It isn't fun, you'll feel like death after but it WILL kill them and the eggs.

I can't do bedbugs, I can't work with the public with the way I explode. I've encountered them after this at friends places and done the same thing to help them sleep as easy as I do now.

I did it without poison. Silica gel powder dehydrates anything it touches and works great on them. All they have to do is touch it and it sticks on them and sucks all the life out of them over the next couple days.

Other than that, washed everything, got mattress and pillowcase covers, hung all the clean sheets up on my door to make sure nothing would stay on them. Got some metal wire rack shelves and put everything they might hide in on there. Also switched to a metal bedframe up on posts and put clear packaging tape around the bottoms to make it tough to get up.

Sprayed the powder like crazy so it could settle on everything and under the carpet and inside all the light sockets.

I fucking hate bedbugs. Killed like 200 by hand, countless more and their eggs with a steamer. It was the powder that finished them off though.

I live in a horribly managed apartment building, so I know they won't do jack shit about this.

So far I've thrown the box spring in the dumpster, vacuumed my entire bedroom including every nook and cranny of the mattress, bedframe, baseboard/mouldings and wall sockets, washed all the bedding in hot water and dried on the highest setting 3 times, covered everything in my bedroom in a layer of diatomaceous earth, and I'm getting mattress bags and traps for the feet of the bed frame tomorrow.

My wife is pregnant so we can't use pesticides or anything that might harm the fetus.

alright bruh, you need to get a shop vac(preferably) ready by vacuuming up FOOD GRADE diatomaceous earth then go at the visible bugs once.you feel your mattress is free of them seal your mattress with a bed bug proof sheet(google it)

Next get some plastic trays that go under each of the bedframe legs i forget what theyre called.

Next move your bed/furniture away from your wall, their main food source is YOU and with them being flightless and all they hide in nooks in crannies'n shit along the walls so over night they'll crawl up the legs of your bedframe but will get trapped in the trays.

Be diligent with DAILY applications of whatever powders/chemicals/vacuuming/steaming cracks you do and eventually they'll die out.

Don't buy that fancy repackaged shit. Get food-grade diatomaceous earth. Get like 10lbs of it for like $20. Fill in a bowl and microwave it for 45sec to make it extra desiccating. Sprinkle it over everything (might want to get a face mask and goggles) and drop a styrofoam cooler filled with dry ice in the middle of the room (bugs are attracted to CO2 and will come crawling out). Camp out somewhere else for a few days. Come back, vacuum it all up, and lay down another layer and refill the dry ice. After the 2nd round, maybe a good spraydown with a can of RAID in any cracks and crevices along floor and walls. I got rid of bedbugs in my cheap college apartment this way. Should take no more than a week to finish.
