The only real truth is one that is self evident.

It should be discoverable by anybody and everybody, regardless of knowledge base, wealth. Etc.

To follow a path that took somebody else to enlightenment requires that you are that other person. But you are not, therefore it's effectively wasted effort.

Sure you may learn some things, but they ultimately they come from somebody else and therefore not applicable to you specifically.

To truly get to enlightenment, you really need to work things out from first principles, by yourself.

If you get there, don't tell anybody, you'll just create confusion.


Therefore abandon names and principles. Abandon rituals and culture. Just live and draw principles from your experience. Then you will come to your own conclusions, I. E. Forge your own path.
Whether it is objectively correct is irrelevant. Your own mind will tell you whether the path is correct.
