There's the beginning of an interesting idea there, but aside from a small element of chance, in this form it's not really much different than the sketti machines where you deposit a foal and get sketties.

The risk/reward contrast needs to be played up, and the fluffies' behavior needs to get more fucked up as a result. Like there being a small chance of winning a *lot* of sketties, but you have to gamble more/all of your foals, or mummahs who get addicted and start having foals just to play the games, or special friends tricking each other (or just risking each other) for a chance to win, etc.
