This is incorrect, see the annotation I posted above. x + th = 130 deg, but both x and th are unknown, so the question is open.

You can actually calculate it because the altern intern angles of the cross in the middle are equal, and the sum of all angles in a triangle is 180 degrees, but i'm too lazy to do the math

Yeah let's see
>>
>>737017744
I mean to say, X is 30 degrees or less. 15 degrees is probably what it really is.
My english is shit so bare with me.
Use anons pic to follow.
>>737016167
This anon basically had it down. The missing angle beside X (not the 30 degrees) is an obtuse angle. So we have to assume it is over 90 degrees. To the far left of the shape, we have 20 degrees. The next corner to that (the bottom left) is 30 + X degrees. Finally, we have the obtuse angle, to complete the triangle I am describing.
So we have 20 + (30 + X) + Obtuse angle = 180
180 - 20 = 160
(30 + X) + Obtuse angle = 160
We know that the angle beside our obtuse angle is 40 degrees. X + (40 + obtuse angle) + 10 Degrees (Top right of diagram) = 180
Just by looking at the equation, you can already tell that X is going to be a small value. Slightly larger than the 10 degrees to the top right.
So, I'll assume X is 15 degrees. Making our obtuse angle, have a value of 115 degrees.
15 + 50 + 115 = 180
20 + (30 + 15) + 115 = 180
10 + 15 + (115 + 40) = 180

Although 15 may no be the right answer to X, X HAS to be between 30 and 10.00000000001, but comparing the size of angle X to 20 degrees, we can reduce our range to 19 and 10.000001.
I say 15 degrees, but I would not rule out the possibility of X being 30 too.
>>
>>737014876
30*
>>
>>737019761
picture is slightly off just sayin
>>
>>737016167

since we can assume theta and x to be integers, we can just try all 360 possible values for x and theta.
>>
>>737019897

Not that anon but its wrong to deduce it's 15 degrees. You can assume that and say i get at most an error of 5% which might aswell be not nehligible. Anyway if you are going for this approach might aswell scan the thing and get the exact angles of the image trough a computer program

I started by extending the triangle, designating the unknown angles using the variables shown here, and solved some simultaneous equations. You just have to work out how to express some angles in terms of the others.
>>
>>737023422
Fuck you its 15
>>
>>737023786
You have three equations and four unknowns there. Any fourth equation you can add isnt distinct from the first three (rref has a row of zeros), meaning an infinite number of solutions (x+y=130). The values you have selected are consistent, but they are not the only solution.
>>
its geometry niggers start using geometry ffs
>>

80+80+60+140 = 360

Confirmed, it's 20°.

Good work to the anons that figure it out the honest way.
>>
>>737024238

I'm not claiming it's a proof. Honestly, as soon as I noted that x'-y=20, I took a wild guess at the value of x, plugged in the angles, and saw that they fit. So it's as much empirical as analytical. I'd like to do something more rigorous with it, but I gotta go to work. See ya /b/.
>>
>>737024340
bruh people are just gonna ignore you

atleast fucking draw a picture of which ones you mean

see
>>737023132
>>
>>737024542
That's what I assumed.

>>737024238
I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out how to redraw this thing to demonstrate multiple solutions, but it must have something to do with violating the spatial layout, crossing vertices or something. In all likelihood 20 degrees is the only solution consistent with the actual problem, but the system of equations involved can't really be constrained like that without resorting to much higher level math.
>>
>>737024602
I'm on my phone shit posting. Is it 30 or 20 cause this is all so confusing now
>>
>>737024340

The interior angles of the overall quadrilateral are actually 80+80+150+50=360, and a quadrilateral has an interior angle sum of 360, so my result is consistent.
