On the US side - they used to be the 'world police', creating stability and also benefiting from it by deciding more of the rules than less powerful nations. Naturally the US would also pay more when they take that role. Now with Trumps administration the US is pulling back and leaving the role to govern the world up for grabs. Who will take it?
