There is this game on ps1 that I only played on a demo disc, but I really liked it...it was a puzzle game that could be 2-player co-op and every level was a cube. Tales of Legendia is my choice

I'm a little biased since it's my favourite game, but if you overlook some of the flaws you'll find a wonderful game with a beautiful and unique OST, a memorable cast of characters and a fighting system that feels like a beat 'em up though still an RPG.
