Carrying a gun is inherently dangerous. You have decide what risks you are gonna take.

Ill take it being not "drop safe" in lieu of having a 10 pound trigger.
While its technically SA only, there is still like 10% hammer engagement with the trigger pull. So its going to take a very serious drop for it to go off.

I have the an older version of that same piece, with almost the same custom grip. You're right, it looks like a beast. Best part is that it sounds like a cannon, and it's very powerful. Yeah, when i was getting good i was shooting 50-60 full house Hornady 454s a session. It fucked my palm, wrist and elbow so bad it interfered with my workouts for a few days everytime. Also the ammo is $1.20 per round, and some of the Fucking Manufacturers know that crimp jump is am issue. Fucking Corbon hardcast shoots one round fine, which crimp jumps the next 3 locking the cylinder. In a shtf scenario there would literally be 'one less nigger', very uncool!

just looking for something in 5.56 around $500-$700 that I could have fun at the outdoor ranges with. I just happen to regularly go to the Palmetto State Armory Summerville store about twice a week but never really looked at their rifles that closely. I've owned pistols for a quite a few years and had a bolt action .22 way back when I was a kid so I want a semi auto in a bigger caliber than I'm used to. Even .223 would be okay.
