Now, this would be particularly true if you build a self-sustainable litter pal habitat, and the litter pal is a foal.

I would probably use a fluffy centipede litter pal, all foals. The last with a tube going from its anus to, say, a flower pot, or directly to the garden/drainage. Theoretically, the remaining matter should be somewhere around 60 to 70% of the original amount of kibble the pet fluffy eats.

How about a fluffy sitting calmly outside a doorway while a human cowers inside in fear holding the talisman of your choice. The fluffy has all black eyes except for glowing red iris's. There are several more pairs of glowing red iris's in the darkness behind the fluffy.

1) The fluffy is too stupid and naive for the Loc Nar to have any direct negative affect on it, but is still spreading evil, i.e.
