Is cities skyline a good game for someone how grew up with simcity and violently puked at rhe latest simcity fiasco?

to be honest I used to have a problem with some games, that the achievements didn't pop up as earned until I close the game and open it up again, making me unlock all simultaneously (the ones I unlocked in the previous run). Only in the game they will unlock in their respect order.

But of course its your money and you have to right to do whatever to do with it.
