I smoked every day for a month, and i haven't smoked for a week now and it doesn't bother me much. It's a craving, not an actual addiction. You won't see anyone going cold turkey for weed. Anyone can kick their weed addiction if they have ANYTHING to keep busy with, and the same can't be said aout meth or cocaine. Thats a form of mental addiction yes. But still not a physical withdraw like from heroin or meth. I used both 6 years ago and they are so incredibly painful when you would do a long runner. When I would go without heroin I would have profuse sweating, I couldnt barely eat. Worst stomach ache and whole entire body ache. Marijuana has never once done that in my life after smoking for over 15 years and knowing many people that have smoked and never have a single physical withdraw from pot.

Small steps my friend. Try and go one day off and one day on, and try and hold off till later in the evenings before smoking, save you from wasting the whole day/afternoon just blazing it.

Just take it slow and on the off days do some really rewarding shit (exercise, go somewhere with friends, make goals etc)

If you keep that up, after a couple of weeks try and up the cut down by waiting till later and having more off days.

This should help with the boredom because you'll have to fill the time on the off days rather than just resigning to a boring evening without weed, as opposed to knowing you have something exciting lined up.

Good luck anon, the key stage to get to is where you're happy with how much you smoke.
