Yep lol. Same thing happened my my ex-wife. As soon as she decided she wanted some strange, and a divorce, she went to all of her friends and started accusing me of being abusive for pity points. She never raised the issue in court, of course, because it was all made up, but she managed to turn all of our mutual friends against me.

You'll find the women you love are the most important people and you'd trust them with your lives until they get bored and you become enemy number 1. Is life. You can never know someone's true intentions. Women especially more than men rely on deceit to gain power in life.

Go into it hoping you're going to get a good one, if you're lucky, you will... and you'll probably have a great time if you are. The 8 or 9 years we were together were phenomenal for me. She was a pillar when I was having tough times/sloughing into depression/motivated me to be a better man. Without her I crumbled for a while, I'm finally back to normal, but that took therapy and effort of will.

In any relationship, there's the good, and there's the bad. Some of us just get particularly unlucky, or we may have blinders on that made our own actions seem like they were less important to our SO's than they were. Every story has two sides.

Either way, take your shot. You can't win the lottery if you don't play.
