Thank you op, I have had to take a break from visiting /b/ for a year and a half because the only internet I had was a library's and I didn't want to go on it there of course. I used to start threads then and here and there for years because it just began to get worse with mainly the amount of porn, but which then caused many other cancers to grow as well.

And when I came back a few days ago and saw that it was even worse, I realized that I had to start a thread about it while I have the opportunity. I will put some of what I wrote in the next post.

Many people don't know how to contribute or just want to feel like they are relating to something or are expressing their influence and post something visually rich like porn.

When I look at /b/ it really looks like what happens when people start to lose much of the capacity of their minds and also overpersonalize things and its like /b/ has become the Bic "For Her" pen for imageboards.

People say it's the trap, gay, /soc/, dick rate, etc. threads that make the cancer but in all these are just different cancers added up together and not one distended and adulterating source of cancer from a common subject.

And I definitely want to see some porn on /b/, there is nothing wrong with that of course. And it's great to have porn discussion there.

The real problem is how there is at least 25-35 threads or more of porn at a time on average, excluding trap/gay (everyone has their fetish, it's just hard to see when it's not what most are attracted to), while the other cancer threads add up. The largest problem is the amount of porn threads and how people just ignore good threads or fill them up with bullshit. And the most common complaint is the amount of gay threads when on average there is only 3-7 usually at a time.

They are also overpersonalizing to focus on something minor because it is related to them and making it seem like it is the problem worth focusing on when it is really about their largest problem or ignorance of the largest problem or a much more significant problem.
