I had 2 prolapsed discs from being a laborer for a couple of years, went on compensation and was issued oxycodone for back pain. Suddenly my life went from waking up at 5am to build rich peoples houses to chilling on my lounge wasted on pain pillers topping servers on battlefield all day, basically what god would be doing erday id assume. Then after a few months i was told i have to come off them which i regretfully did. But the seed of opiate addiction was planted in me and wasnt going anywhere. I stopped using the oxy but still craved that feeling. It became my life. Codeine is over the counter in my country in the form of 15/500 codeine, tylenol. I now dose 300mg codeine 2-4 times a day trying to replicate the oxy my system is missing. Cant see myself enjoying a sober life when this feeling of universal bliss is all i care about now.
