I am quite afraid that my friend is ghosting me. This girl has spoken in such a way that it would seem like she genuinely cared for me as a good friend. But for some reason suddenly went silent. She agreed to something, I followed up, and she didn't reply. Asked for advice a day later, again, no reply. And after two days of that, I sent "Hey, is everything alright? You've been oddly quiet lately"

Personally wouldn't take texts as a sign, I'm one of those who sends essay txts, then if tired or something, more to the point and no frills.

girl from college, 7 years older than me. we've had a fling for a month or so now. we get along like a house on fire and are both really into each other. she's a bit of a mess though, lots of emotional baggage. we've discussed again and again how something more permanent wouldn't work between us due to our age differences and we both agree that it wouldn't. we always decide to just be friends. always going back on that though, I never really accepted it and don't think she did either, I've always been too into her to just walk away. We talked yesterday, decided to end it, a few hours later she says we should date (but then we decided to take some time to think it over), and now today we've "ended" it again - I think it's for good this time. Feeling pretty down because I still have feelings for her.
