I finished commercial pilot ground school but ultimately decided to go into real estate on the advice of my mentors who were getting fucked by the industry

Student pilot here. Getting my education paid for by the government. Still probably not the best choice career-wise, as jobs to pilots-ratio is like a hundred to one. Doesn't really matter tho, I'm fulfilling my dream
