There was one episode of Hey Arnold! that always got to me. It was the one where Arnold learned karate, specifically the scene where he attacks the random guy asking for directions.

I had a similar thing happen with my grandfather, I called his house and talked to my grandmother for a while. I got bullied in public middle school for being the youngest in class. I was really smart, but it's hard to concentrate if you're worried if you'll get beat up before you get to the next class.

I was starved by my auntie when I was 19 to keep me under control. By then it's been years of being abused. I ended up beating up my cousin to get out of that house and he needed stitches. Since then my life has been up hill from there.

that's just to name a few. I think I came out of all of that alright. I'm very well adjusted now. I'm not violent and I see past a lot of people's bullshit.

The dental assistant told the doctor she would never work on a child again after that, and apologized teary eyed over and over again after they had corrected their mistake, fixed my fucked up teeth and took me out to the waiting area. We never went to that dentist again, and I've always been terrified of both dentists, and quiet waiting areas. I was a babbling wreck for the rest of the day, and still have nightmares that my teeth are being ground up slowly. TL;DR: Dentists power sanded my teeth for 15 minutes before realizing I could feel all of it, and I managed to scar a poor college experience girl away from ever working with kids again.
