Fidget spinners love it or hate it?

Indifferent. Almost bought one yesterday but I figured a kid would probably enjoy it way more.

Never really got why they are so hate here. Probably because everyone here is 12 and jealous their friend has one? Idk.

Liked them more than I thought I would. Don't get me wrong I don't think they are amazing and I wouldn't buy another one but the one I have I'm content with and I feel like I got my monies worth. Tbh I think the people who hate them have never used them or are just trying to be cool. All in all I think they are cool to have and not bad for a fad that will die out soon. It'll be something cool to give my grandkids when I get old.

I have one of these and the 3 point one, I like this one because of how easy it is to rotate in your hand, I find it calms my nerves a little and stops me from bouncing my leg like a retard.

On a road trip Saturday with my 4 year old, my wife told him "if you're good at this stop you'll earn a fidget spinner." Great job, wife, now where the fuck do we get one, because although he knows about ordering from Amazon he is going to want one right fucking now. He immediately starts asking me over and over when he will get one and when I'll stop and get it . . . so to avoid possible meltdown, I get off the road and go to a Wal-Mart and Walgreens, both of which are fucking out.

I will say that he didn't cry or melt down. He was satisfied with the exercise of trying to get it together, plus we gave him a small snack. He truly is a good non-bratty kid.

But yes, for reasons like that, I dislike fidget spinners. Useless gadget isn't the problem; trend isn't the problem; the problem is they result in me being bugged about producing them when they are not immediately available.
