I was there when /b/ cared about things. Not people, mind you. People always sucked. Kids were occasionally okay. Cats, though - you tried to start a 'rekt' thread in those days, and posted an image of someone hurting a cat? You would be doxxed and your life would be ruined. I remember when it took little to get us organized. The promise of laughter was enough. Im lurking around since 2007 or 2008, dont remember exactly, but if 2007, then it was in the end of the year (around november maybe).
