The premise is exciting. It's just I don't like the fact that there are explosions, a lot of gun fights ans things getting destroyed all around like the other games of the saga. I dont think this kind of gameplay fits with this premise.

The gameplay is awful since Part 2. Nice Idea but its gonna be way to consolish with QuickTime events and linear Story etc.

I like the concept and the location of it but I feel like it'll be the same thing as 3 and 4.

Far Cry 3 was by far the best since they perfectly aped. "Heart of Darkness." Far Cry 5 looks like it can be fun. Don't know how I feel about customizable protagonist it makes it feels like it will be less of a personable story. Like Jason had specific reasons and connections to people while the protagonist to 5 is a sheriff's deputy.

Far Cry 3 sold millions - mainly due to it being easy to play.

Far Cry 4 sold even more than the first three combined.

Yeah fuck ubisoft and their console tier reskins of the same game over and over again.

5 has to avoid the trappings of the transition of 3 to 4 (Which was shit) and deliver some truly original or, at least, improved content. It's great that it's set in the US for once and it looks like the story will be killer.

From the looks of it you'll be playing as an unnamed sheriff that either stumbles on the cult or is sent to investigate it. From this I'd really like to see more of a focus on survival instead of laying waste to some unfortunate outpost that's on the way to some bullshitass tower.

Since Ive become red pilled about the world around me, this kind of demonization of Christianity and white culture in the current social climate we have feels like it will have negative impacts on the psyche of people. It feels like anti-white propaganda, or at least it might have that effect on extreme leftists/Antifa types or radicalized kooks of a (((diverse))) nature.

That aside, I've always thought doomsday cults were fucking fascinating. The film "Red State" is a favorite of mine regarding this kind of shit. I'm also intrigued by the location, Montana is a gorgeous place.

If it plays well and is written well, I'll buy it. If its merely "Whites are evil and racist, boo whites yay based black playable character kill them all", then I'm out.
