It's cool, way less of a serious commitment than CAP though. We don't even have uniforms or anything like that. We just do search and rescue (and safety awareness events), and use our members' own planes.

The event is a fly-in breakfast in the next town over. We host the pilots, feed them pancakes, and tell them some safety tips.
