Society claims the meaning of life is finding your niche within that society, and fulfilling that task even if it slowly kills your soul.

Personally, I think the true meaning of life is discovering and then fulfilling your purpose, which may or may not work within those societal bonds, but living through that purpose driven life will give you the fulfillment that money, women, and all the other distractions cannot.

Honestly there isn't, to be entirely true.
The closest we get is the meaning YOU give life, which can be in the form of many things.
In the end it all comes down to belief.
There's no meaning, so you define your own meaning.
Religious persons use that as their meaning.
Some devote their lives to bettering themselves, that is there's.
Some devote to killing, raping, or living a life to what we consider "not right", and as much as we see it that way, that too is meaning.
All meaning is the same, that being there is none but what you choose to believe/give meaning to.
Just live your life the way you want.
Good or bad.
It's all the same.
