What area/major cross streets are you near? I was born and raised in Chandler and South Phoenix was always considered to be the most-fucked/up/dangerous place in Arizona, but it seems like the folks in the West valley have really been working to make it the most-ghetto part of the state. Yeah theres plenty of shore fishing/ bridge fishing. Idk the canals you can get gnarly catfish in. The Papago area has great fishing spots all around it. All the lakes that are in east valley housing areas are good to fish also. Bartlett lake is also nice. Also riverview park in mesa has a decent amount of fish
