butthole edition
Hey gents. Deciding to download Heroes of the Storm. I've played a little bit of LoL and DotA in the olden days, what can I expect?
>>733311912
Let's just shorten that to "butt" edition

Genuine question
What do you find so attractive about anthropomorphic animals?

Butts. Well drawn large butts.

HotS can scratch the MOBA itch without being nearly as skill intensive to get into. If you're looking for something you can play casually without taking too seriously it's a pretty good game. Myself, I enjoy it in short bursts. Once I start taking game outcomes too seriously it loses the appeal really quick because of how chained to your lowest performing player you are.
>>733315109
I like the concept of lean sexually open creatures that might find me as exotic as I find them.
>>733315109
>Genuine subjective answer
Idk, to be honest. some are well-drawn, "exotic"... RL-furry is revolting imho, but I am not anyones moral compass

This

>>733315424
I see what you mean

One of us. One of us. One of us.
>>733315667
Fair enough. Similar to >>733315598 , I've got no interest in the furry lifestyle, it's much more about the fantasy porn aspect of it. Animals are utilitarian and brutal in the pursuit of their needs. That aspect of them distilled into the form of a sexually attractive and hungry woman hits a sweet spot for me, I guess.
>>733316059
plus it'd be neato to cuddle up with a furry snow leopard girl in a cabin on a cold winter evening.
>dat bushy tail
>>733316286
Goes without saying, my man. As hard as it would be for you to keep from stroking her soft fur, like you would any normal cat, she'd find it hard to avoid nuzzling into the soft skin of your neck with her nose and running her hands over the excitingly fur-less expanse of your back and chest. The fun moment being when the both of you realize your respective curiosities/inclinations are welcomed by the other. Let the comfy cuddling begin.

Art is some of the most well-done work on the internet. I've used furry art to improve my own technique for years now. The only other thing I can think of is I imagine what sort of "human girl" personality an animal would have (horses are stubborn, cats are flexible and lewd, dogs are tomboys, bears are fat girls, etc), and use that as a means of fantasy.
Normal men are attracted physically to things, hence why regular porn is so popular with them. For us basement dwellers, we're feminized, and are attracted to fantasy and what our minds create for us. This is because we've been raised by over-protective mothers and have had no real male role models. So something like the type of personality of a woman, especially ones who are drawn and fake, ESPECIALLY ones who are drawn and fake and are ANTHROPOMORPHIC FURRY GIRLS excite us.
Thanks Dad for leaving me with mom.
>>733317015
What are dragons?
Still horny as FUARK by the way.
>>733315901
>>733317207
Muscle girls? Dragons are more masculine and powerful than females. I don't know.
>>733317207
I'd guess the furry equivalent of picrrlated
>>733317405
Fiery, hotheaded, a bit flighty (anything with wings would be flighty), stronk and horny in my opinion.
>>733317551
So like me IRL?
>>733317748
I don't buy it; pics and timestamp
>>733317748
I like that interpretation. Good one.
I wonder what else we can do?
Cows are loving doting milfs.
Pig girls are slovenly "will do anything" country hicks.
>>733317405
I like to play off of the hoarding/greedy aspect of your standard fantasy dragon along with factoring in the life-span differences. Leaving how the relationship started aside, having gone on for years a sort of grudging love would form that's more about loyalty and mutual respect than sexual (though seeing to eachother's needs in that regard would be part of it). Dragons are ancient creatures accustomed to battling each other and the lesser creatures for what they have and what more they want. Your place in her treasure trove would be a unique one, as though you might be the newest piece, she quietly knows she'd give all of the rest of it up if it meant keeping you for what time you have left.

I'm totally on board with it.
>>733321540
Well ya, totally. The silent movie thing seemed kinda risky anyway.
>>733321657
Yeah, too risky for a Nolan movie.

>>733325350
I like programming. I just don't like my current job.
>>733325522
Ah, that sucks.. but why let that make you hate the whole thing? I feel like I get paid to do what I'd be doing anyway. And I know I'm kinda privileged, but I assume you can find something better yourself.
>>733325702
I could probably find something better but i'm just so exhausted from building stupid CRUD apps at work that looking elsewhere is a burden. Also I'm kind of trapped until I pay off some student loans.

Come back when you have to spend your days wading through tens of thousands of lines of legacy business logic that was developed by hundreds of different people in the last 15 years, spread across 10 different subsystems, where there is absolutely no documentation, nobody knows how things work, nobody knows how they were SUPPOSED to work, and when something blows up nobody has the slightest idea why that might be.
Add in mistery bugs where contracts are left in temporary logic states that they aren't supposed to be left in, and you can't figure out how it's possible, or they get out of sync across the different systems, because the people who built the fucking thing were too retarded to understand the concept of "transaction"; and then you have to do all kinds of manual hammering on the production database and fucking around with the business frontend, both of which you're not even supposed to have access to, to try to get them back in sync and allow the process to continue.
Yeah, I don't like this particular system I'm working on at the moment.
>>733327437
Classic Gatekeeping.
>>733327204
She's a cheating whore man :(
>>733327612

>>733327523
We also interface with an insurance company from the same financial group, and just last week a couple hundred customers were accidentally billed other people's insurances because of a fuck up in the billing data stream, which sent the wrong account numbers to the billing system.
The fun thing is this is happening at the biggest bank in my country, which is a G8 country I won't name just in the extremely unlikely case someone I know from work is reading this.
I'm afraid to even ask what happens in the smaller banks...
>>733328093
Sounds like you need better developers.
>>733328093
Anyway, I was just passing by before sleep.
See y'all around
>>733328245
Well, that's for sure. Most people I work with are fucking retarded and seem completely unable to look at the bigger picture when they're developing something.
They always go for the cheap, quick fix, even if it's painfully clear that it's going to cause a fuckton of problems later on. Also they seem unable to remember how things work, they can work on a particular part of a system for an entire month and then if you task them with doing something else on it two weeks later, they're completely unable to do it without being spoonfed the solution.
At which point I might as well have done it myself because it takes the same time.
Honestly I'm not even mad with _them_, I'm mad with management who doesn't replace them with someone better.
>>733327437
That's what I've BEEN doing. Mostly converting applications from AS/400 RPG and VB6 to .NET. Servers running windows server 2003. Hardware is 10+ years old and doesn't support virtualization.
>>733329100
Kek, I feel your pain then.
What is it with software people and furry porn? God, I'm a codemonkey too and I feel like 75% of the people I work with have a furaffinity.
why are both e 621 and u18 down?
Welp, I just dropped hella money on a flight to the other side of the country for the Eclipse this year.
>>733329864
I guess we're just much more likely to get exposed to it.
How many plumbers do you think end up browsing /b/ and seeing a fur thread?
Not a furry, just here for the buttholes. Post moar
>>733331947
>>733331827
Whoops.
>>733312143

Also, Winter, your NS is off.
>>733332298
Gah
Is there a way to enable it only on /b/?
>>733332480
Yeah, the "sync on /b/" I think should do it, right?
Gimme the oct's
So close
Maybe this roll
>>733315109
Furry Combines the best elements of both, though its not exactly a new concept. Most "gods" and magical beings in most primitive cultures also shared the embodiment with humans AND animals. Something inside humans wants to make peace with what we are, and we used to show respect to the other animals on the planet by telling tales of how they survived, gave to man, taught us to hunt, fed us, protected us and so on.
Everyone likes dogs and puppies and kitties. they are soft, snugg-able and have a sort of endearing love that is rather unconditional.
Humans on the other hand you can have a deeper intellectual and physical relationship with, though there is a lot of posturing and conditional requirements stacked atop these relationships as humans like to have more "equal" relationships.
Combining these into a single element, furries, seems like an odd, but reasonable interpretation of these things. We can lust over things that minimize risk to us, don't harm others, and let us fulfill both human and rather animalistic desires.
It totally be a vixen if it were possible, seems fun and sultry and allows fantasies I personally like, that most people don't seem to really be too keen on long term.

>>733333950
Hey Scales.
A strange thread. The only way to leave the ride is to not browse. I cannot cure this damnable fetish of mine.
