Comfy/Cozy Thread
The idea of a city underwater is incredibly cozy to me.

why didn't she just take the basket with her when she picked all those? This just made me not feel cozy.
Did anyone find the idea of a pub inside a stair's step in Rick and Morty comfy af?

sorry you dumb bitch, the truth hurts. while men were busy creating civilization and everything else, women were busy laying on their back, getting fucked, and bitching about everything. women are nothing more than overgrown children. retarded children

One last visit.
One last self-indulgence.
You proposed to her, here. She said yes.
Then came the cancer diagnosis and a rush to have the ceremony done by her bedside, bald and perforated by ivs in a white bridal dress, she said, I do.
You kissed her, and she went into cardiac arrest. Of course she did. God is a cruel, petty sonofabitch, a kid with a magnifying glass and matches.
Your friends insisted you get counseling, after. Trying to keep you alive. Trying to keep you feeling anything but a crushing despair, a sense of insane guilt-
-God hates you, and she got cancer because she said yes, if she had said "I'm sorry" this would never of happened-
Stupid PTSD or survivor guilt or chemical imbalance you don't. Care. Anymore.
If there are such things as ghosts, she will meet you here, and you will dance in the twilight. Maybe you'll meet her at the pearly gates and you can love her forever.
Maybe. She's. Gone. Forever.
Maybe the mass of neurons and chemical reactions that made you love her was a once in a lifetime- that being the lifetime of a universe made by a cosmic accident- and no one and NOTHING will be waiting for you.
You've weighed your options. Oblivion vs. a life without her.
It's no contest.
The note was left on your desk, along with your last will and testament. Maybe your friend, just recently married, will have a better life.
Maybe.
Not your problem anymore.
You stare at the city skyline as you put the revolver's barrel to your head.
Cock the hammer with your thumb.
It's beautiful.
BANG
Although phone pictures don't do it justice, I've also found my window view cozy

We had our place all picked out; a lovely medium sized condo in an affluent neighborhood in Vancouver. It was two and a half provinces away from the people we'd lost, the places we'd watched contort and change, the histories we couldn't escape. In the haze of love and flowery promises about what tomorrow 'could' hold, it seemed pretty perfect. Looking back, it still is.
The small entry room bled into a large open concept kitchen and living room; high ceilings, crystal chandelier and floor to ceiling windows, which we both loved. Everything was so white and clean; ultra modern, with just a hint of fresh paint and upkeep. The deck wrapped around two sides of the condo, offering another connection between the kitchen and living room. One side looked out onto the city, the other out onto the mountains.
I remember standing with her on the deck and looking out over it all. The city was lit up by so many hundreds of tiny lights; each one privy to and illuminating its own collection of little secrets. Looking out in another direction, over the collection of boats in the harbour, we could see the silhouette of the mountains in the distance. Beautiful and dark, barely visible but for the light of the city. She loved the mountains and relished every second we spent near them. The view made her smile with serenity I've not yet seen matched.
Of course we never ended up there. She went her way and I went mine, as these people so often do. Every time I'm out that way, by myself or with my band, I see that tall building near the boats and wonder "what if" again. I was comfortable there, even though we were just looking. It just felt right. Christ, I miss you, Alison.

>or with my band
Now we know why she left.

Honest to god, I've always wanted to build a fish shack that sits right at the edge of a cliff like this. I'd sell fresh caught fish roast, a slew of drinks, and that's it.
>>733038872
I have seen such houses before at an art expo in Moscow. It was a competition, I think, on who could build the smallest, comfortable house but in such a way that it could still be classified as a house. They built a small cafe in one of them on the ground floor. Pretty neat.
