Bitcoin giveaway/discussion thread

>be you, no bitcoin wallet
>go to Coinbase dot com, make wallet
>post address in thread with (delete) section
>i send you small amount of bitcoin

I chose coinbase because it also has wallets for ethereum and litecoin. I'd appreciate if we could keep this for newbies only, as I'm only sending very small amounts just to get people started.

Excellent.
is it small like your Small Penis ?

also, seems like you need to launder your stash wasting some bitcoin to other addresses.

are you the WannaCry author?
do you need FBI investigating the people who got your Small Penis Small Bitcoin Amounts?

don't be so triggered, faget.

the account who got the ransom bitcoins will be checked for every spending.

you're anonymous as long as people receiving your bitcoins don't get busted by some three letter agency.

you just need to send those damn agencies wasting time here and there before you can spend your stash.

people who gave you a btc address will soon see an FBI van before the door.

well, then

let's say you made up $46k out of a ransomware who left some dozen millions damages around the world.

let's say you were willing to waste up to 20-25% since day one, to be able to collect the remaining.

then you just need a large bunch of faggots falling for your bait to make investigations worthless.

it's the usual moneylaundering scheme, even easier than counterfeit money, in that you just need a bunch of gullible faggots accepting 'small amounts' as if those were legit payments.

once the investigation hits lot of them, you can legitimately spend more before the last ones get quickly visited by some black van.

>tldr, having bitcoins is anonymous, but spending them is not - the entire blockchain is public, what you get and what you spend are definitely public

FBI here.

We're investigating OP's address, the one ending in ...QZdiq5 and still having some 4.2 BTC left.
the parent one was the one ending in ...ukTofU having 13.25 BTC.

he donated some 0.10$ (0.0000546 btc) at a few of the cringey faggots of this thread.

and he bought an Apple iPhone on March 24, spending 0.768 BTC.

Bitcoin is still decentralized...
If you aren't an austistic artist, and know a thing or two about covering your tracks, no one will know where the log in to the wallet came from, let alone WHO it came from. Also, if you have bot nets running a couple wallets, you could use that to ur advantage for staying anonymous. BUT, most of you dumbfags don't know the difference between a MAC address for a router and it's SSID, or IP addresses, so, I doubt you would know (or comprehend) the steps it would take to keep you safe from LEA. doesnt matter how you hide whos transmitting the transaction.
at the end of the transaction chain, theres something you bought or some way you spend your money.
triple letter agencies try to have 100% coverage on these transactions. all the others link to them.
if you transaction isnt covered, thay can still fuck you with money laundering charges

1. I don't think you fully understand bitcoin.

2. Even IF LEAs could analyze every transaction (which would take damn near full computing power from LEA), you would still have to put a face to the wallet.

>guilty until proven innocent
Kek, literally the opposite, learn something.

3. Bitcoin is legal... just don't buy illegal items

4. You cannot get charged with money laundering for holding bitcoin, bitcoin is, once again, decentralized (not maintained or owned by anyone person or entitie). You can only get charged if you move large amounts of bitcoin into an account for centralized currencies. And even if you do, they have to prove that you obtained the bitcoin through illegal activity. (Some people work in the TORnet as site moderators, for multiple sites, many NOT illegal and get paid in bitcoin).

AND, there are still many tactics for hiding your tracks from LEA, good anon.
I will not post here, but research and cleverness will take anyone as far as they would like to go.

And just to add to my post ^^

The idea is to hide yourself BEFORE you even have contact with the wallet. But There are Many, many, many, many different steps necessary to do so (research if you want to do it lazyfags).
The wallet can be criminal as hell and have many terribly illegal activities and transactions on them, but if they cannot figure WHO is controlling the wallet, then they have no suspect.

And IF they did put a anons face to the wallet, you must prove that it was in fact, without a doubt, ANON who did it. You need more than a trail they THINK was leading to you, they need a "smoking gun". So, just toss out your device/node that was used for transactions.

I sold my bitcoin recently at the high. Buying into ethereum atm. currently cheap and all prospects have it at over $100 by the end of the month and around $300 by the end of the year. Yes its not as high as BC but because its cheap now, you can make bigger profit because whatever you put in can triple, whereas buying into BC (unless youre buying £10k work) is not going to yield huge profit when buying $100 worth

I used to mine. I bought a couple of old desktops for £10 each and just set them up doing nothing but mining. took me about a month to get half a bitcoin (extremely inefficient) which at the time was worthless (this was back in about 2014-5) but now its worth about £800. however i used a tonne of power which shot up my bills. At the time it wasnt worth it but now it may be viable

if you sell your bitcoins at the time you get them, probably not.

Unless youre serious about it (i.e. buying 1k at a time when you get paid rather than putting into a bank), bitcoin isnt a great idea. even if you buy £500 worth, its going to take about 5 months to double again. while thats means in 5 months you get £500 from doing nothing, other cryptos (and even forex) can return better profit (ETh and LC going up about 5-10% per day when bulling). however BC is a good long term investment i.e. putting money into it rather than a bank. Bank interest is so low atm that there is good reason to buy BC, especially since forecasts indicate close to £3k by the end of the year (double what it is now). but remember, it could crash at any time. Some country could bring in a law that restricts its use slightly, companies abandon it over night, as your £50k savings can be worth £5k by the morning

yeah (didnt update) but its like I said >>732964919

BC is all about the long run for most people. Im banking on ETH becoming big (some markets are taking it on and its actually following the trend of BC when it first started).

Can you orange box your hard phone line and milk DC power out of it? Providing it's hooked up.
