So even things that aren't alt-right (or conservative or even political in any fashion) are getting tagged as controversial (or even offensive now that consumer marketers have added alt-right to the list of offensive things).

Its true though that private sectors have the right to refuse use or pull services from their platform to users, but this is what it is, it's a political power movement to shut down opposition. It's just really fucking under the table.

Please explain how YouTube is censoring the entire internet. Regardless of how many millions of whiny sjws part and comment on it, who fucking cares what they say? The internet is still a free place. I'm talking about real free speech, not social commentary. Sure, each side is trying to steer a message on social norms to fit their own agenda, but that does not equate to a loss of freedom.

This in particular, the fact is there is proof, there companies that have stated they want to remove ads and funding from sites/sources/ect. that provide content of anything controversial or extreme. This is from the basis of what the -left- defines these things as.

So you can act like "Oh if its not running through the gov. it's not a real thing." Sorry man, that's not how the world works. The shit that runs through the gov is a fraction of everything going on. What makes this such a big deal?
Because this is where if succeeded groups start to realize they can do this more openly and freely and it fucks with something you and I both presumably care about. Net freedom. One thing I'm sure we both like is that we can find most anything on the internet to its original form. We can find expressions of content other people put out at its rawest form.

When people start realizing they can destabilize people's access to platforms (whether it's youtube, facebook, tumblr, or some other shit) unless they follow the guidelines of one set of rules we start getting...guess what...fascism.

Oh, and by the way this can extend to google. Very well one day you could type 4chan into your browser and it won't pop up because google won't allow access to it or at least for it to be searched up. (Example, this can extend to anything, good luck finding articles on news someone doesn't want you to find)

The thing is this, this is something that is fueled by an ideology that plays on a field made for itself. An artist could draw an artsy version of a cartoon character on Tumblr and because this character in it's original form was chubby but they drew it thinner in their own artistic manner you have this outcry of people saying it's "immoral and offensive" basically trashing it down to the point that tumblr is like "Okay, well, banned." This person can no longer use their platform to post their art on.

Now the obvious thing here is, just find a new platform. But when you're talking about platforms like Youtube or any big named site, once you're blacklisted you're almost effectively silenced. Same thing on twitter, if you're follower base is all on twitter and you get cut from there for saying "My friend Tyrone sure loves this watermelon I got." I mean, you've just gotten cut, sure you can move but a significant portion of your followers won't come with you.

It's a political power move to silence opposition. It's effectively censorship.

The more it spreads and happens, the worse it can be in the future to the point you may not even be able to find articles from google searches.
