Who ever thought it was a good design decision to combine jetpack with a rocket launcher you dont need to aim with and then intend it to be countered with a sniper rifle that requires perfect aim. I think you're wrong because cs spray patterns are harder to master, you have to get kills to buy guns, the tf2 guns are infinitely simpler and more splash damagey, more muzzle jump, more recoil, plus the hitbox difference used by cs calculates damage differently than TF2 which uses a very simple flat rate for hits to certain body parts.

For these reasons, most people will consider your opinion shit, but you're allowed to still think cs is more simple.

Overwatch requires as much skill, if not MORE than Counter-Strike and Dota... COMBINED. Here's why.

When you're good at FPS games, you don't need to be good at strategy and learning abilities, cooldowns, counters, etc. Same thing with Mobas, when you're good at them, you need to have extremely fast reaction reflexes, like for FPS shooters.

Overwatch combines BOTH of those aspects. So you need to have good hand-eye coordination reflexes PLUS you need to be good at strategy and know when to use which spells, howmlong are the cooldown on ultimates, and so on.

Counter-strike is easy, you just pick the sniper, camp, and click one button when the ene,y walks in the middle of your scope. Rinse and repeat. Then buy some flashy weapon skins to make the game more interesting or keep playing to get some box drops with said weapon skins.

CS noobs think they are "elite hardcore players" while in fact, Overwatch takes way way more skill than that repetitive poece of crap. No wonder why most people are playing the Surf servers in CS.

Master rank in OW, LEM in CS:GO

OW is infinitely harder and takes much more skill and actually requires communication unlike CS.

Yes OW can be perceived as a game for casual gamers because it can be played how anyone likes with its customisable lobbies. But the way it's competitive is set up is infinitely better than CS:GO. With its being 6v6 teamwork and communication is key to winning. There are very few heroes that can actually carry and even then only if you're amazing with them.

In CS:GO I have carried more games than I've fapped. It's a game for more serious gamers, but only starts to get hard at SMFC and Global. I'm not there cause I stopped playing cause the community Is almost as toxic as LoL. If you can aim properly and position yourself right then you can carry the shitest of teams to victory.

The game mechanics are so different that comparing them is ridiculous.

CS:GO is a vanilla shooter that takes lots of raw skill but causes lots of toxicity due to it. It's pistols can 1shot hs when a rifle can't and steam is only updating it cause of the bank they make from cases.

OW can't be played solo and requires teamwork. Due to each unique ability it can be played so many ways. So many counters to counter a counter. No 2 abilities are the same.

The argument about it being a ripoff of tf2 is stupid. You can argue any game that is similar to another is a ripoff and Circlejerk it until you're just beating a dead corpse. Just because you don't like it others do.

Don't get me wrong, CSGO is an ok game if you want play a brainless game and hope to win some weapon skins, al while listening to kids mic spamming during the whole game.

Overwatch requires A LOT of team communication, and you simplh can't win if you don't have a plan and good teamplay. You also need to actually read a lot, and learn all the different abilities and cooldowns. You need to watch a lot of twitch or yt gameplay vodeos, in order to see what the pros are doing and what are the best strategies/ways to use each hero combos in synergy with the rest of the team.

There one simple reason that Overwatch is more popular than CSGO or TF2...

Because it's a BETTER game.

You see, what Bliz did, they opted for a quantity instead of quality. Matchmaking is tunes so it takes 1-3 mins, then after the 5-th it just throws you into a rendom ongoing match with leavers regardless of if it's balanced or not.

Good matchmaker has an OPTION: "I'm willing to wait up to 10 or more minutes for a BETTER deal with players who are actually closer to my MMR. Please don't lose-streak me for playing bad"

OW doesn't. It operates on the win rate. OVer 50-52%? Have a lose streak. Went down to 49% or lower? Play against a team of noobs you can steamroll alone if you so wished to. Reeeeal fun idea.
