My dealer is solid when it comes to response time (usually within seconds) but I still want to grow my own.

While I share your sentiment about professional sport I would argue that something like marijuana has tangible benefits with virtually zero downside. If I'm stressed out a little marijuana can really level me out. This has saved my job so many times when I felt like I couldn't take the bullshit anymore. Everything just becomes "whatever" for a while. No side effects, no withdrawals, no addiction. The social aspect of marijuana died out a long time ago but during high school and college it was a way to meet people and have a good time. You were definitely an outsider if you didn't partake. These days it's actually my job.

I can see what you mean. Have people ever been able to handle stress without drugs? I don't know. I myself may be biased because I was excluded from trying marijuana when I was young. I believe in just law and order. I know of two individuals who where the biggest stoners in high school and now both punish drug users and dealers for the US government. It seems to have soured me on life.

As far as I can tell as long as people have been recording history we have been getting fucked up on one substance or another. Personally I truly believe the only reason drugs are illegal is to protect the monetary interests of the pharmaceutical industry.
