So this is tricky. I make $87,000/year because I'm in the Navy.

Most airline pilots in the MAJORs make $100,000+. The ones who whine are not being cry babies. They are the commuter/regional pilots. Entry level for them is, no shit, $18,000/year. To fly passengers. In an actual airplane. And you had to go into fucking debt up to your eyeballs to get there. So this is a legit gripe. It takes a lot of years to earn the real money.

Or do what I did and join the military and never ever have to worry about that, because I could leave from here and go right to making $70,000+ in the airlines.

Argentina is really economic place to fly. I made my training there last year paying $105 per hour with or without instructor. Also living there is cheap because of their economic mess. I highly recommend going there, the school I went to has really good instructors.

The flight station was actually semi quiet. I could set power using engine sound and whatnot, but back by the prop arc it was unbearable. And if the syncs didn't work, then you wished you would die sooner than later.

But the sound a T56 makes while taxiing is majestic and still makes me happy.

I don't trust inspection between flights to accurately pinpoint anything and I'm scared that there's no margin for error up in the air if something goes wrong.

The key is to not panic. That is why you practice things like engine out procedures and the planes go for inspections much more frequently than cars.

Airlines and military craft have dual redundancy or better, so even if something breaks, you have spares.
